Unwanted company

I was in my room laying in bed watching Netflix on my laptop when Mason came into my room. "What?" I asked him not looking up. "Look at me when I'm speaking to you and stop being rude." He said closes my laptop. I look up at him with a huff. "We have the family trip today be ready." He said before leaving. I've always liked our family trip. It's only dad's siblings because we don't live anywhere close to any of Mom's family. We talk to them every two months or so. The family trip is always so fun. We go to this place in the woods. It had all of these activities you could do. But I really want to go to the lake at the far end of the place. They have this rope swing that me and mu cousins have been trying to get to but we're told to stay away from it.

I quickly get dressed in black swim trunks and a red shirt with sandals. "NOAH MAKE SURE TO PACK EXTRA CLOTHES TOO! WE'RE GOING TO LUNCH AFTER!" I hear Liam shout. I shout back an okay and pack some black jeans with a blue shirt and white Adidas. I run down stairs and see the one person who could ruin this whole trip. "What. Is. She. Doing. Here?" I ask them. "She's coming." Liam said putting a couple things in his bag. "But the trip is for family only." I told him still glaring at Katie. "She is family." He said standing next to her. "No she isn't." I said. "Yes she is. Now be quiet." He said in a loud tone. He didn't raise his voice but he doesn't use that voice with me. I ran down stairs to where the twins room was. I saw Bennett packing his things. "Hey, Noah what's wrong?" He asks me. I statr crying and sit on his bed. "I don't  want her to come she'll ruin everything." I said now sobbing. "Wait she can't come it's only been family." Bennett says angry. I start to cry harder. Bennett just lays my head on his shoulder as I continued to cry. Soon my eyes got droopy.

Bennett's POV

I saw he was asleep. I didn't wanna wake him up so I grabbed our stuff and put him on my back I walked up stairs and saw everyone in the living room. And Noah was right Katie was coming. I guessed they noticed Noahs tear stained face so they all started to ask questions. "What happened?" Liam asked. "He came down stairs and started crying." I said. "Why was he crying?" Benji asked. "I don't know." I said lying right through my teeth. "I hope he's okay." I heard Katie said. My head snapped to her. "Yeah sure." I said back. There was shuffling on my back. I saw Noah waking up a bit. "Shh, go back to sleep." I said. He stilled. "Bennett, Noah and Benji will ride with me." Elijah said. "Nope, Benji is riding with me, Liam, and Katie. I am not sitting through the mushy stuff alone." Mason says grabbing the back of Benji's neck. "Dammit." He says. We all head to our separate cars and drive off. "Wanna tell me what that was about?" Elijah asked, more like demanded from me. "What are you talking about?" I asked. "Bennett you're the quietest one besides Noah so why did you talk to Katie like that." He said not looking away from the road. I looked at Noah in the backseat. "I think it's better if he tells you. Can it wait till we drive to lunch?" I ask him. He nodded and we continued talking about other things.
