We were all by the rope swing when I spoke up, "Who goes first?" Collins walked up. "I'm the oldest, I'll go." He said before for backing up. Taking a running start he gripped on tight to the rope a swung. He landed in the water. He sprung up laughing. After Ethan and Daniel it was my turn.I steped back just like they did. I took off running and I latched on to thd rope when I let go my left hand hit one of the rocks. "Ahh!" I screamed. "Noah, what happened?!" Daniel asked. "I hit my hand on the rock. I can't move it." Isaid trying but failing to move it. "Let's dry off and go tell the others." Collins instructed us. "What do we tell them?" Ethan asked us. We all looked around at eachother. "Exactly what happened. I hit my hand on a rock when I fell. I fell because I tripped over something while we were playing hide and seek tag." I told them.
We dried off and ran to the others who were at the picnic table eating. "Help!" Daniel yelled out. They all came running over well Katie was slowly walking rolling her eyes doing so. "I can't move my hand." I told them. Questions were being thrown left and right, up and down. "He tripped when we were playing hide and seek tag and hit his hand on a rock." Collins told them.
Liam walked up and grabbed my wrist I winced and cried out. "Sorry guys the day is gonna have to be cut short." Liam told them they all nodded and packed up all the food and stuff while we left. Once I got into the car with Elijah and Bennett I looked out the window. "Hey Noah do you mind if we talk about why you were crying earlier?" Elijah asked me cautiously. I glanced at Bennett and he nodded. We then explained to him everything I had told Bennett. His hands gripped the steering wheel so tightly his knuckles turned white. "Noah you should have told us sooner from now on you tell Bennett and I whenever she does something to you." He said to me. I nodded my head and continued to look out the window.
Time skip
I was laying in a hospital bed talking to Bennett. My hand was losing feeling. "Do you think I can still baseball this year." I asked him looking down. "I'm not sure buddy." He said patting me on the back. We continued talking when a doctor came in. "Hi Noah. I'm Dr. Davis." She said waving. She looked nice.
"So it says here that you hit your left hand pretty hard on a rock." She said lookimg at her chart. "Yeah." I said sitting up. "Can you move it for me?" She said coming up to me. I try and try to move it but won't move. I start to cry. "I-i-i can't. It won't-" "Hey hey shh it's okay you did great honey." Dr. Davis said calming me down.
"Noah is going to have to stay here over the next few nights. You all should go home and come back tomorrow with some of his things." She instructed my brothers. "Why? What's wrong with him?" Mason asked her. "I think the nerves in his hand are paralyzing it. If this is true he'll have to have physical therapy here." She informed him. They all left and I got sleepy. "Do you think I'll be able to play baseball?" I asked her.
She sat on the bed next to me and shrugged. "I'm not sure honey. Now get some sleep. I'll turn on the T.V." She said about to leave. I nodded and layed down closing my eyes.
