The demon has been slayed

I was woken up by noises around the room. "Look who's up." Benjamin said. "Hey guys." I greeted them. I looked around and noticed Elijah wasn't here. "Where's Elijah?" "He had another meeting but he'll be here later. How ya doing buddy?" Liam informed me. "Still can't move my hand." I said looking down. "Hey guys let's go get something ro eat. Katie you'll stay here with him for a couple minutes, right?" Liam asked her. That's when I realized that she was here. She nodded her head spitefully. They all left, leaving me with her.

"So brat you gonna stop faking?" She said angry. "What are you talking about?" I asked her through gritted teeth. "Oh come on you've got to be kidding me. You're  faking it to get attention." She said standing up. "I can't move hand no matter how hard I try!" I said raising my voice. "Liam is talking about pushing the wedding back a month." She said stepping closer. "Thank god he deserves better than you." I said to her. "You lnow your brothers don't love you. Your just a little brat who needs to be taught a lesson." She said raising her hand.

"I suggest you put your hand down Katie." I heard a voice say. "Before I make you." Liam said. I saw all of my brothers at the door with pissed off faces. "Liam, baby it's not what it looks like." Katie says starting to panic. "Oh really so what all that stuff you said?" He said crossing his arms. She starts stuttering like crazy. "I think you should leave my patients room. Now." Dr. Davis said now entering the room. Katie stomped out like a child leaving the rest of us in the room. "The she-demon has been slayed! Finally!" I said, they all laughed. "Now lets see what's wrong withat that hand of yours." Dr. Davis said.

Lazy Time skip

"I'm sorry Noah. But after looking at your scans and everything in your hand is paralyzed." She said looking sorry for me. Those words made my world break. "But we can do physical therapy to train your body to get your hand moving." She said trying to make me feel better. "Can I still play baseball this year?" I asked hopeful. "Not this year buddy. I'm sorry."

I nodded my head slowly. "Can I text Wyatt please?" I asked Liam. "Yeah." He said handing me my phone.

I gave my phone back to Liam. We all talked about random stuff to get my mind off of things when Elijah walked in. Mason explained everything that happened before he came in. "Sorry kid. Hey I bet you're tired of hospital food. How about we pick you up some actual food." Elijah said. I nodded and they went out of my room. I was reading when a girl in a wheel chair came in to my room.

"Hi I'm Tara." She said rolling over to my bed by using a controller. "I'm Noah." I told her. "What are you here for?" I asked her. "I have cerebral palsy. It affects my movement and posture. Well at least from what I understand. In my case it mostly affects my legs." She answered. "How about you?"  "My left hand is paralyzed." I said. "Oh, I'm sorry."

Time skip

"Hey Noah who's this?" Bennett asked coming in with the rest of them. "Her name's Tara." I said. She waved at my brothers who waved back. "Tara! Tara!" We heard someone yell.  "Uh-oh. In here Marley!" Tara called out. A women came in and saw everyone. "I'm sorry my sister likes to wander." She said.

"It's fine she is quite the kid. I'm Liam." Liam said extending his hand. Their eyes met for a while. Marley shook his hand. "Marley. Nice to meet you." "Hi I'm Noah. As you know that's Liam. Then there is Elijah, Mason, Benjamin, and Bennett." I said pointing to every one. "Hey come on Tara. You can visit tomorrow." Marley said before leaving with Tara trailing behind. "Okay give me food now." I said smiling.
