I let out a frustrated groan as I collapse on my bed. Grabbing my phone, I search his name, removing him from everything I had him on. I think about messaging my closest friend but decide against it as it was gone one in the morning and I didn't want to disturb her.

Instead I come across a Tweet on Twitter, deciding that would give her the hint that tonight didn't go as planned when she woke up, I added it to my story.

I let out another sigh, dropping my phone back onto my bed. Standing up again, I begin to take off  my dress before grabbing my stuff to  remove my make up which unfortunately won't be a quick and easy task.

Finally, I crawl back into bed after tugging a baggy T-shirt over my head and pulling on a pair of shorts. Closing my eyes, I relax into my sheets, enjoying the stillness and quiet.

Just before I completely slip into unconsciousness, a loud ring echos around my room. Lifting my head to look at my bedside table, seeing my phone screen lit up. I reach out and pick it p, my stomach dropping as I see the caller ID. I should just ignore it but for some reason I swipe across the bottom of the screen, bringing my phone up to my ear.

"What do you want Andy?" I ask, not even giving him chance to speak.

"Hello to you too."

"Seriously, what the fuck do you want? It's half one and I'm really not in the fucking mood." I snap, hating how nice it is to hear his voice.

"I saw your story."

"And? You couldn't just message me like a normal person. No wait, why even bother to ask at all, we haven't spoken in months."

"So? That means I can't call you to check on you?"

"Not at this time no."

"But this is our time or do you not remember all those nights we spent together talking until three in the morning?"

"I remember we didn't just talk" I retort, rolling over onto my other side.

"No but that's not why I called."

I sigh, not having anything to come back at him with. After a moments silence he speaks again.

"Don't be the good woman he crawls back to when he's done fucking around"

"What?" I asked, frustration fading.

"That's what you posted."

"You memorised it?" I laugh slightly.

"I read it like two minutes ago, my memory's not that shit."

"Sorry."

"It's fine, I know you lo-" he starts before stopping himself. "I know you, I just wanted to let you know that even though we didn't work out that I'm still here for you, I still care."

"Thank you, it means a lot."

Silence falls between us again but it's not awkward. It never was.

"He was seeing someone else." I sigh, desperate to talk it out. Andy stays silent, giving me time to gather my thoughts. "We were supposed to go out tonight and he was supposed to pick me up at 8 but he never showed. I tried calling but got no answer. After an hour I went out on my own as we we're meeting up with some people." I stop again, the night's events flashing through my head again.

"Take your time, I'm here, I'm not going anywhere." He whispers.

"I left to go to the bar but thought I'd call in at his on the way, just to see if everything was okay because he still hadn't answered any of my calls or texts. I got there and knocked on his door only he didn't answer it did he? No it was some woman dressed in a towel asking me if I had their pizza."
