Part3-leave me alone!

Hi my alicorns! Thanks for reading well here's the chapter!!!

"Oh, hi, did you need something?" Sophie asked.
"Nope, I just figured I'd sit with you since it's your first day of school." Dex said in return.
"That's nice but I'd rather be left alone."
Dex eyed her." You sure?" He asked clearly skeptical.
"Yeah, I'm not really a people person anymore." She mumbled the last word but Dex heard her.
"What do you mean anymore?"
Sophie frowned she didn't want to have this conversation but it seemed like he only way he would leave her alone.
"Long story short, I was dating this guy, fell in love with him. Then he broke up with me for some other girl. Then the day after my parents and my sister died. In a car accident. So yeah I really don't wanna  be around people right now." She was surprised she said it all without crying, but she said it all with a straight face. It was hard though and she felt better after she said it.

Dex just stood there with his mouth open."Ok then, I'll leave you be." He said as he picked up his food and left.
Reliving that made Sophie lose her appetite so she decided to go walk around the school and try to get to know where everything was.
When she left the cafeteria she went left. The hall turned there, and as she went around the corner she walked straight into a boy with messy blonde hair. He landed right on top of her.
He looked down at her.
"I know I'm hot but I didn't know girls were this desperate." He said smirking.
"Get off me" was Sophie's reply.
"And what if I don't?"
"Then I make you wish that you had never been born."
"Okaaaayy." He said as he got up. Sophie stoop up a second later. Before she could walk away the boy stepped in front of her.
"Well you're not in a very good mood." He said grinning.
Sophie just stared at him with a disgusted look on her face.
She continued to walk in the direction she had originally walked in.

She just walked away. Keefe was confused and surprised. Girls were usually head over heals for him. I mean he was awesome.
He just shrugged then began to walk away. Then he realized he had never even seen her before. And he knew all the girls. So she's new. Keefe thought.
A/N whenever things are written like this it means that they're a thought.
I should go ask the front desk about her.
Keefe walked into the office with a fake smile plastered on his face.
"Good afternoon Ms.Alina." He said casually sitting down.
"Good afternoon, Mr.Sencen." She replied.
"So anyway I was wondering about the new girl." Keefe asked leaning back in the chair,"Can you tell me about her."
Ms.Alina frowned."Her name is Sophie and you should leave her alone."
"Why, what happened to her?"
"She had a boyfriend-he had even given her a promise ring- (a promise that he would ask her to marry him when they were 18) broke up with her for another girl."
"That girl, really?"
"That's not even a fraction of it, the day after her parents and little sister died in an accident."
Keefe's mouth dropped, he thought he had it bad but, he would rather have parents that didn't really care about him and never around them no parents at all.
And to have good parents then lose them?
And a sister. And lose someone she loved because he no longer loved her?
This girl was easily stronger than anyone else he knew.
"But there's still more." Ms.Alina said with a sad look in her eyes.
"What!?"He exclaimed.
She looked straight into his eyes.
"Her family wasn't supposed to be on the road that night, she was supposed to be the one in the car not them." A tear fell from her blue eyes."Her older brother told me that she blames herself for it happening."

Keefe's eyes widened. He couldn't imagine the guilt she was feeling.
"And that's just recent stuff,"
"What do you mean recent stuff?" Keefe practically yelled.
"She also had some very bad stuff done to her when she was 12, she's almost completely recovered from that though. Well mentally."
"Something so bad she's still recovering from it?!" Keefe was angry now. That girl didn't seem like a bad person. Why did all this happen to her?!
"Anyway is that all you need Mr.Sencen?"
"Oh! Um..yeah, thanks."
"Anytime."

Keefe was out of that office within the minute it was still lunch and he had to find that girl. He started running through the halls.
"Mr.Sencen! Stop running"A teacher yelled. Keefe just tossed a 50 dollar bill at him, then kept running.
Soon enough he found her walking near the art room.
"Sophie!"
She looked up at him with a confused look on her face. He ran up to her and hugged her.
"What are you doing," she asked,"And how do you know my name."
"I asked the secretary about you." Keefe said as he pulled away.
"No, no, no, I don't need your company or your pity !"
"Well you may not need it but you deserve it."
"No I don't!" She yelled with a half mad half hurt look on her face."I killed my family!"
Keefe put a hand on her face."No you didn't it wasn't your fault."
"But it was. It should have been me. It's all my fault. It's all my fault! It's all my fault!!"
Keefe grabbed her shoulders." NO IT'S NOT!!!"
