Part-22

Keefe pushes the door open. He was meeted with the smell of all different kinds of ice cream.
He saw Lex was it? No Dex.
Dex budded toward the corner where Sophie sat with her head down.

Keefe couldn't see her face, but she had ice cream in front of her.
It was completely untouched though.

He walked up to her table and slid in next to her.
"Hey, Foster you ok?"
Sophie slowly looked up. It was obvious that she was had been crying.
"Hey..what's wrong Soph."
"I really don't want to talk about it right now."
"Ok, do you want me to leave?"
"....No."
"Okay."
So Keefe sat next to Sophie.
Occasionally a tear would roll down her cheek. But Keefe didn't ask any questions, he knew she just needed time.
She might tell him later, if she was ready. But she wasn't right now.
So he would wait.
As long as she needed.

About 28 minutes later, Sophie looked up "Ok, let's go."

Sophie Pov

She stood up and walked out of the table with Keefe closely behind her.

"Thanks Keefe," Sophie said as they got into his car.
"No problem Soph, you're house isn't that far."
"No I mean...thanks for being there."
"Anytime Foster, anytime."

Soon they were at Sophie's new house, she looked at it and she just didn't want to go in just yet.

She looked at Keefe.
He raised an eyebrow.
Then Sophie told him everything.
From her boyfriend and when her parents died. And her goodbye to her sister.
And finally about Fintan.

She was in tears at the end of it. Keefe just held her.

Keefe POV
He would never let anybody hurt her ever again.

Hey guys!! Sorry it's been a while. I've got a mountain of work. So spare me!!
Next chapter will be a little different. It will be about Dex and Biana.
