We're gonna die we're gonna die, so dead at this point, I'm pretty sure I heard Jenessa fall down the stairs already! But I'm going to save who ever can make it up the stairs in one piece, going back for someone who is already being eaten wont get the rest of us out of here alive. But Jenessa!
"Lila, hurry!" Stephen yelled since I was at the top of the stair case looking for an escape route
Windows maybe? It might be a rough fall, but it will sure hurt a hell of a lot less then getting our skin torn off. But what if when we hit the ground, they come at us? And we can't run because one of us got hurt? Oh well its now or never!!!
I jumped over to a window in the hall and opened it as quick as I could. I got ready to jump out when all the neighbors were almost up the stairs, it took them a while though 'cause they kept tripping eachother. I was relieved to see Jenessa made it up the stairs in one piece.
"Jump after me! Quickly!" yeah I'm afraid of heights, but I think I'm more afraid of being killed, and that's all the motivation I need
1... 2... 3!!
I pushed myself off of the window frame and my heart stopped as wind whistled around me, and the ground came closer
I shrieked when I hit the ground, but luckily I landed on my Butt so I didn't break anything, but damn did that hurt! I quickly scrambled out of the way when I heard someone else's scream come from the window, It was Ella.
She landed on her feet but dropped to her knees on impact to avoid breaking her legs. She crawled over to me quickly as Jenessa was the next jumper. It worried me Because when I jumped all the dead were at the stairs, they would of had to of made it to the top by now!
"Is Stephen ok?!" I asked Jenessa as she got up and ran over to us.
She shook her head violently as she was still probably dazed from the fall.
"Wh-where is he? Did he go to another room!?!" I got a sick feeling he was to late getting out, but Jenessa choked out a sentence before she she began trying to slow her breath down
"He jumped over the rail of the stair case since they had all made it to the top, he is still in the house!"
"Lila please go get him!" Ella pleaded to me to retrieve him from the house. I nodded and dropped my messenger bag that I had taken on the ground. I sprinted to the front of the house to find the door split open, and surprisingly there was no monster coming to kill me! I walked through the massive hole in the door, and ran through the house quickly and quietly.
I had a mini heart attack when I turned a corner and Stephen was there trying to run around the same corner.
"Come on, we are going to die, hurry up!" Stephen whispered yelled at me, I didn't understand why he was being too urgent, all of them were upstairs. I followed him anyways, wanting to get out of here and somewhere else.
We made it out the door and met up with Ella and Jenessa by the car, Ella already had the car unlocked and started up, and Jenessa was in the back seat holding Hoagie like he was a human baby. I crawled in the car besides Jenessa and saw most of the stuff we gathered, was on the floor of the back seat, so I guess we are sitting with our feet on the seats this ride
"Drive!" Jenessa screamed as all the ones that were in the house started pouring out the front door again, one even fell out the window we jumped out of! In a sick way, it was pretty funny.
Ella started driving by slamming on the excelerate, and swerving onto the road.
