Roger's P.O.V.
Brian and I- eRm-

Brian and Rina are going on another date. Well- not really a date-
Rina is staying at Brian's flat to watch sCary mOvies.

Am I dressing up? No. I'm a grown adult. I don't have time for that sh-

"hEy, rOgah!" John calls out. "Ronnie and I bought cat ears for us and you to wear!"

"Correction. You guys and Rina." I say.

"I dOn't cAre!" John says. "jUst cOme dOwnsTairs!"

"Oi- alright."

I've been living here for a little over a month now. I can barely remember where I used to live at this point. Is it strange that I miss my mum and dad? Does it make me a baby? I'm not sure.

Freddie, John, Veronica, and I are all going as cats I guess. I'm pretty sure Fred picked that out.

I come down the stairs to see Veronica and John siting on the couch. We eat breakfast together. Veronica is actually really nice. I can see why John likes her so much.

~~~later that day~~~

*Ding-Dong*

Veronica opens the door.

"Trick or treat!" A small crowd of children yell.

"You all look lovely!" She says handing out lollipops. "What are you guys dressed as?"

"I'm a ghost!"

"I'm a pig!"

"I'm a box!"

"Wow!" Veronica says. "Those are all really cool!"

"Thank you ma'am!"

"Actually," I boy dressed up as a rabbit says. "Can I have a blue lolli?"

"Oh, of course!" Veronica says lowering the bowl to his height.

"Thanks!" He says running off with the other kids.

She closes the door and gets more candy for the next wave of kids.

"You should probably go get changed." John says looking up at the clock.

"Oof, you're right." I say running up the stairs.

I get changed into a black long sleeve sweater and the same skirt I wore when I first saw Brian. I put on some gray stockings and some comfortable dress shoes. I brush my hair and then tease the ends of it. Then, I put on my cat ears, but something is missing.

Bows! That's what will make it better. I grab the black bows Deaky got me and added them to the cat ears.

I put on some foundation and a light brown eye shadow. I put eyeliner along my top lid and extend it out to make a cat eye. I add some mascara and lipgloss to complete the look.

Just as I finish, Veronica walks in.

"Hi, Roger!" She says. "I'm going to draw whiskers and a nose with marker if that's okay with you..."

"Oh- sure!" I say. I'm confused why she didn't question why I'm dressed as a girl. As she draws on my face, she says, "Oh yeah- John and Freddie told me about you and Brian. I won't tell anyone. Don't worry."

I arrive at Brian's flat. He opens the door as I knock.

"Rina! How's it going!" He says hugging me. A witches hat lays upon his poofy hair. "You look adorable."

"Aw- thank you." I say blushing.

"I have some horror movies to watch tonight," he says. He gives me some different VHSs.

"Ooh, I haven't seen this one before..." I say picking up one of the movies. "IT sounds cool."

{({i know "IT" has never existed in this time period. could you even watch movies like at ur home in the 70s? Probably- but i'm rushing this chapter Halloween so yeah.

"You okay?" Brian asks me. I didn't realize I was shaking.

"oH- sorry..." I say. "It's just- well... scary."

"I find it more funny than scary." Brian says.

"It's just- aaaHhHhhHhhHh." I yelp as the clown comes on the screen. I hug Brian tightly. He laughs.

"It's okay." He says hugging me back.

Brian's P.O.V.
I can tell Rina is falling asleep. Her head bobs up quickly as she wakes herself up.

"You can go to sleep if you want." I say.

"No- it's okay," she says. "I'm not tired."

"If you say so..."

A few minutes go by when I feel something hit my shoulder. Rina's fallen asleep. I smile to myself as she dozes off to another world.
