Christine's POV
The boys took their sweet ass time trying to put on a pair of clothes. Then again I only have one bathroom, and they seriously needed a bath. My water bills are going to be so high... Oh well.
By the time they all had finished getting ready as a whole, they walked down the stairs. I had managed to get through some of them. All I needed was to divide the last two, but I also needed to get ready so I left the money to the hands of Alex.
"Alright Mr. Treasury, divided this for me, this girl gotsta get ready too," Alexander nodded, taking the money from me and immediately went to work. I walk my way upstairs, already forming a To-Do list. All I needed really to do was put deodorant and perfume on again. I feel like I need something else... I'll just look around my room just in case. What we need to do first is get a birth certificate, then ID, and then we could go around looking for jobs (Hopefully we'll find Seabury and Lee while walking around.)
Once I enter my room, I stay in my doorway and stare into my room. It was a mess... I don't have time anymore to clean up my room. I had underwear and shirts scattered across the floor. My blanket was slowly but surely falling off of my bed. I'm pretty sure I had at least five pillows on my bed, yet I only see two. I'll do it after this whole fiasco is done.
I walk over to my white desk and grab my lavender scented perfume. I swiftly sprayed it over my upper body before putting it back where it was. I paused before plopping the bottle in its usual spot only to see it left a spot. Around the bottle was clearly dust. Do I need to dust my desk off, too?? I need a whole day dedicated to cleaning my room. I put on deodorant and make my way out of the room. I guess that's all I needed, I swear I'm missing something.
And with everyone ready to go, money in each of our hands, we leave the house. We needed to take the first subway to the vital records building. It's pretty far, so I want to get there quickly. Walking also sucks.
Getting there was as simple as it could be in New York. The subway was packed. Everyone and their mothers decided to have a day out! Getting on the subway was way more work than it should be. The boys didn't have a metro card, so I paid for theirs. I was the last in line and when I went to pay mine, it didn't go through. The only solution was to jump over the stupid gates. I'm sure it's not illegal, there wasn't even a police officer around so I was good. The only thing that worried me now is the subway.
There were a lot of people, which meant that people would be touching shoulders on the train. It's not even eleven yet, meaning rush hour hasn't even begun. Yet look at all these bitches who decided to leave the house when I do. "Hey you nine," I call out to them. The nine boys, who were looking around at the disgusting underground(I think I heard John say he saw a rat carrying candy wrappers,)looked my way.
"Christine, why is this place so disgusting?" The King recoiled in disgust. "Because people are disgusting and people roam these areas constantly. Now let's stay close, we could get lost easily with all these people here. Our train should be here in five minutes on this site so stay close to me." When I started living in New York, the subway was the scariest part of going to school. For the first couple of months, I begged my older sister to come with me on the bus. Her classes didn't start in the morning, yet she would take a train with me to my school and back alone. She really is amazing. Even to this day, she amazes me.
Recently, she's been getting sponsors and teamed up with other big companies for some big event. Right now she's teaming up with Instagram and Snapchat (Both separately) for something huge for the next update coming in 2019. That's like two years from now. A bunch of people who have my sister's app is hoping it won't be anything cringy. I know my sister so well that she wouldn't make it like that. She knows what people like. She has a full range of ages on her app. She made it accessible for every age and even made a translator for almost every language. I have the app and it's actually really good. It's a messaging app. But you can play certain original games to gain these stars. With these stars, you can unlock more games or emojis. You can talk to anyone, it's as international as it can get. It being international can cause a lot of problems, such as language (Which was easily fixed) and an increase in sexual harassment, verbal assault, and possibly other things.
The verbal assaults and abuse bother my sister extremely. There's not really a way to completely stop that problem, only report and block the person which will lead to them being banned. She's still working on that little issue and would take any suggestions from in her building walls to the people in her community.
Our train pulled up and I made sure I can see all the boys as we made our way in. I was right, there are a lot of people before rush hour. The King had a disgusted expression on his face and I think his face got stuck like that. Washington, seeing how this is his second time going on a subway, was now getting used to the horrid place. Alexander and Hercules were staring at this one tattered woman seemingly talking to herself. Jacky, who was minding his own business, was getting some glances from other guys. Lafayette, Thomas, and James were sticking close to me, afraid to step anywhere else.
Now...
Let's get down to business.
