Third POV

"How in gods name did I find my way into the future?" Phillip began, "It's not even possible for someone to go into the future- unless they were completely immortal which is not even possible, but since I'm in the future there is that possibility. But how did I, out of all people! Get into the future! I mean, It's insane! You said it was 2017? What has changed? Holy shit where am I? Am I still in New York? What kind of house am I in? WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THE DUEL??" Phillip rambles, freaking himself out while he was doing so.

"Listen, calm down, will you?" Christine pleads. She stood in front of the screaming boy with her hands in front of her, cautiously.

"How can I calm down??  You aren't answering any of my questions." He shouts and Christine grabs him by the shoulders and sits him on the bed.

"Calm down... please," Christine says and he finally breathes and stops shaking. Which I didn't even know he was even doing. "Follow my breathing," She says and takes exaggerated slow breathes to help him out. He nods and follows suit. Very quickly he calms down. "Sorry," He apologizes and looks down.

"It's all right. What's this about a duel?" She questioned and he stays silent. He was unsure how to answer the mysterious girl. "This guy... he was talking shit about my Pa! He didn't want to apologize about it either! So we got in a duel! It didn't end well..." He says his emotion changing while he talked. I hum. "At least now you get a second chance."

He nods, a smile forming on his face. It was so bright and so fucking pure, I swear-

"You said we were in a house of people from the past. Who else is here..." He questions. "Maybe you should look at yourself before you see everyone else." I grab my phone from my desk and turn on the camera. I flip the camera and show it to him. He flinches in return and looks at it unsure. He goes and presses something on the screen and flinches harshly as it did whatever it did. "What is that? Wait, I look like that?" He questions and Christine nods in response. She looks back at the screen of the phone. What button had he pressed? Did he-

She looked in her photos and lo-and-behold, there was a picture of Phillip. She showed it to him. "That's you," She said and gave him a few seconds to take it all in.

"Wow..." He finally says after a good minute. "I know, it's a lot to take in- but before we go to sleep lets introduce you to the rest, let's know you're here." Christine grabs his hand and helps him off the bed.

"Hey you guys, downstairs! There's someone I want you to meet." Christine shouts. A few footsteps follow the two down the stairs. Phillip stays right next to Christine the whole time. When they get to the bottom Phillip sees people he's never seen before which makes him nervous.

"There are so many people..." Phillip whispers to Christine.

"It's alright, only two of them bite," Christine whispers back jokingly. Phillip smiles his nervousness easing slightly. Jefferson, Madison, and Washington stand behind the couch while everyone else is on the ground or sitting on the couch.

"Why don't you introduce yourself?" Christine says, holding back a yawn. She was tired, yes, but not too tired to sleep then and there. As soon as she lays in her bed she knows she'll be wide awake.

Phillip put a hand over his heart, while the other hand was behind his back. "Um, sure. My name is Phillip Hamilton. It's a pleasure to meet you all." He smiles charmingly.

"HAMILTON?" Christine sputters out. Alexander sits up abruptly as tears pricked his eyes. Was he hearing right? Phillip Hamilton? His Phillip? Phillip watches with confusion as Alexander stands up and walk around the table. Alexander immediately pulls Phillip into a tight hug as tears fall freely from his face.

"I'm so sorry, Phillip, I should've told you to ignore that guy. I was so caught up in 'legacy's and shit that my first son died before me..." Alexander cried into his son's shoulder.

"Pa?" Phillip question, unsure. Alexander nods. "That's me!" He cries, "I may not look like I did before, but I know you are my son- I'm so happy your here." Phillip hugs back but with more might.

"I miss you, Pa," Phillip whispers to his dad.

Christine smiled and leaned against the couch, letting the two have a father-son moment.

After a few minutes, Washington was brave enough to interrupt the bonding moment. Washington walked up to the two, putting a hand on both of their shoulders. "It's good to see you back and well again, Phillip," He said showing the gap in his teeth-which Christine didn't notice until now, "Washington," He introduced with a smile.

Phillip grinned. "Washington! It's-it's amazing to see you again!" Phillip went to shake his hand but Washington gave him a big bear hug instead. Surprised at first, Phillip hesitated for a second before hugging back. Phillip was released from the hug a few seconds afterward.

"I always wanted to meet your kid, Alex. It's nice to meet you, Phillip, my names John Laurens," For the next fifteen minutes they went back and forth introducing themselves.

Christine was already long gone, leaning against the couch with her eyes shut. No one hears her soft snores as she slept. The first to notice was Thomas. He was going to ask her the time but he already knew what the time was by her sleepy form. Her head was tilted to the side and her arms were crossed over her chest in her slouching position. Thomas walked over to her.

He rested his arm on her back and put his other under her knees. He picked her up with only a bit of struggling. Who knew she was so heavy, she doesn't look it.

Christine snuggles into Thomas peacefully sleeping.

"I'm heading to bed, night," Thomas whispered, not wanted to wake the girl up. "Night, Jefferson," Madison replied, everyone else soon bidding Thomas a good night. Phillip glanced at Thomas leaving with Christine in his arms. He didn't know her for too long but she... She left quite the impression for him. Who knew one girl could control a house full of men?
