"I believe it's time for everything to began," said the woman as she placed her stuff down and looked at her husband. I wished everyone could have killed them already. They were old anyway I was sure it would be that hard but it definitely didn't help that we weren't mind readers. It would've been nice if we were.
But now things were different now we had a chance. The couple had prepared to.lrave and I knew this would be our only chance to get away before our deaths commenced. I didn't need to think when it came to what I was willing to do. I knew things would be crazy from this point on. I just had to put up with it. We all had if we wanted to live.
"I'm sure our lucky guests should be here," said the man as he got closer to the door "make sure you all fight for your lives the best kills are the hard ones right, Blair?"
The girl didn't answer him instead she spit on him. I guess that was enough of an answer "you see that's the spirit Blair your already having a good start I knee from the moment you walked in you would be fun" laughed the man as he usher his wife out the door.
I wished I had a chance to know what she was feeling. Out of all of us, she had it worse. She was the reason we were here and I'm sure that was getting to her. The sound of the door shutting and locking echoed as we finally knew we were safe to make plans and find a way out of this horrible place.
"ok here," Josie said as she passed a metal flying object through the air. The minute it landed I knew I had to start cutting my way out of the ropes. The knife was small but it sure was sharp I didn't expect anything less from Josue. She had probably broken from thousands of near-death experiences with this thing. Now it was for us. I passed the knife to marceline as I began to unwrap the tape around my kegs. I knew we didn't have any time to waste. From experience. Even a second was wasted time when it came to this.
It wasn't long before we all broke out of the ropes and we're now faced with a knew problem. The door was locked and we needed a way out.
"there's definitely a way out," Marceline said as she began pushing objects to the floor. "they want us to work and the only way we could do that it if we get out. This has to be apart of a plan"
The girl's inference had made total sense which was why she began pushing everything to the ground. There had to be a secret exit.
"check the closet you bimbo," Marc said as he began searching next to me.
I quickly followed his words and ope.ed the closet door.
"That's not a closet" I whispered in fear that the things inside wouldn't be able to hear. It only took seconds for our large group to be fully crowded around the door trying to get a look in.
I had already seen what the closet held and trust me it definitely put slight fear in my heart. Marceline was definitely right. This was definitely part of a plan. There was no doubting that. Two people that had killed for years definitely wouldn't have made that rookie mistake. We all had to brace ourselves for what might be in there. Whatever it was they wanted us to see it.
"if this place is hell I'm guessing this door is the entrance to flames" Wren added as we began moving the small an out of stuff covering our exit. She was right. This place was bad. But I knew theses people we're worst. That was just a proven fact at this point.
"there had to be another not ominous place to escape from right?" Kennedy asked as she began pulling on the locked door. It wasn't long before she realized that wasn't going to work "ya know I'm pretty sure killing myself was a better idea"
"That's what I thought too but then I met Dean," Blair said as she shrugged her shoulders. With that, she bent down and straight into the hell hole. I knew it would be long before we quote on quote "met our makers". I decided I would have to be the one to follow behind her. We were just better together. It was always like that. I had her back physically and mentally. Now I literally had her back...because I was behind her.
The small space had been dark but just enough for us to see. It was obviously planned but the dust and spider webs told me it wasn't in use often. This must be been a special occasion.
My hands had been flat across the cold stone as we continued to crawl nobody said a word. Once again I was sure everybody was too afraid to.
I knew we were getting closer by the muffled voices and the words that barely made any sense. I knew they were there. I knew that we need to get to them before they got to us.
We took the final turn as my eyes began to make out what had been at the end of this crawl space. A group of four and candles was all I could make out. As I got closer I realized it was a group of five. Five
Four candles. One person sprawled out on the floor. There was only one person it could've been.
"Dean" Blair whispered under her breath she quickly began to move quicker in fury. "how could you do that to your own son," she said as she exited the small space. Her angry had just revealed us and even though she was hurt we were all in more danger.
The man got up from the floor covered in a red robe with only his face showing.
"the same way your parents could do it to you" he laughed "well are going to do to you"
