It has been a few years since Mob has developed a crush on you. Though all he does is glance and admire you. He never approached you nor does he ever talk to you.
Even though the two of you rarely talk to each other, he still sees you as a friend (more like a crush). He makes sure that you're safe during school (sometimes on the way home since your homes aren't too far apart) and do small things to help you subtly.
Though today, he's gonna confess his infatuation to you. He walked stiffly to school with his palms sweating and shaking and a shakey smile.
He plans to confess to you after school so he has a lot of time left for him to prepare.
He walked into his classroom and, as per usual, was greeted with the buzzing chatter of his classmates. He sat down quietly on his sit.
"I heard that Y/n-san has a boyfriend!" The murmur of one of his classmates reached his ears. His mind went blank. He could feel his heart sinking. 'Is it true..?' His heart sank more.
He decided to listen in the conversation even though he knows that it could be possibly wrong but he couldn't help it, he was getting desperate.
"Yeah, I heard that she was asked out a week ago.."

He felt like crying. The pain was painful to bear. His hand clutched his uniform where his heart is as his breaths went shallow.
'It can't be true! Right?' He thought.

He stiffly but desperately speed walked to the bathroom to try to calm himself down. On the way to the bathroom, his heart dropped to the pits of his stomach.

Mob watched you and your boyfriend holding hands and kissing each other next your locker.
He just wanted to scream in dread, he just wanted to cry, he wanted to run away and never come back.
But no. His body refused to move even a tiny bit. His feet were as if glued to the ground, his eyes forced to watch the painful truth before him.

Finally, he managed to run away from the scene straight to home; with his bag and a heavy and broken heart of course. Once he reached his home, he quickly changed and threw his bag to the side, going to his room then isolate himself.
He has never felt this so heartbroken since childhood. He cried himself to sleep in order to avoid his emotional bursts (which is him going all out).
In the end, he was too late.
