It was a normal day like any other. You woke up with a fresh and clear mind and a body ready for anything. You swung your legs off to the side of your bed, letting it dangle. You stretched your upper body and hopped off your comfy bed before stretching some more.

With a satisfying crack, you then walked to your closet and grabbed your uniform that was neatly hanged. You then skipped to the bathroom to freshen up. After that, you dried yourself and got dressed.

Going downstairs, you smelled the heavenly aroma of the freshly cooked food being set up on the dining table. You felt body being led to the table and happily obliged.

"Morning mom!" You sent a smile to her. She smiled back and kissed your forehead.

"Morning sweetie, you seem quite happy and energetic today, what gives?" Your mother giggled.
You gave her a small smile.

"I don't know, just felt good today!" You said as clasped your hands together.

"Itaidakimasu!" You let out and started to dig into your food.

"Bye mom! I'll be going now!" You said to your mom with a wave as you gently shut the door behind you.

You hummed as you peacefully walked your way to school. You grabbed one of the handles of your backpack by one hand while texting on your phone on your other hand.

You texted your friend, whom you call Shigeo or "Mob" in short, with a smile growing on your face.

"See you at the front gate! I'll be waiting :)" You typed then send. After you send your message, he immediately replied back.

"See you too!! :))" You smiled at his reply. You thought it was cute and precious even though it was considered as something plain to most.

You turned off your phone and hid it inside of your pocket.

You sprinted to the front gate with excitement and a shining smile.

You saw the familiar black, bowl-cut hair glistening against the sun's rays at the front gate.

"Mob!!" You shouted out. Your friend looked up and smiled cutely.

"Ah, Y/n!" He said with a small smile and waved.

You stopped in front of him, hunching forward with your hands on your knees and quietly gasping for air. You looked up at him.

"C-c'mon, let's go.." You said panting. You grab ahold of his sleeve and went through the big gates with him in tow.

It seemed like an eternity before the last of your classes ended. The bell rung in the hallway, signifying that school is done for the day.

Your teacher bid your class goodbye and left. Excited chatters erupted in the room, the sound of chairs screeching back followed soon after. You hastily but neatly packed up your stuff in your bag as soon as your teacher left.

You felt a familiar presence come up to you and you looked beside you only to be greeted with black charcoal eyes staring back at you.

"Ah! Mob! Just in time! Let's go to the rooftop!" You beamed.

"If it's okay with you anyways.." You sheepishly said as you fiddled with your fingers and looked down. Shigeo felt his heart clench at the sight of you being so cute. Not that you weren't cute before.

"I-it's fi-fine! I don't mind.." He managed to stutter out. The color pink dusting his face as he did so.

You smiled and grabbed his wrist, leading him to the rooftop with Shigeo barely keeping up with you.

Once you reached the rooftop, you immediately went to see the sunset. Shigeo came shortly after, not without gasping for air like he just ran a marathon, of course.

He glanced at your form, admiring your beauty and your shining eyes. The way they shined against the slowly dimming light of the sunset made his heart flutter and stomach churn uncomfortably yet fulfilling.

"Why...are we here?" He drawled out, still mesmerized by your form. You hummed.

"Oh right! Uhm..I just wanted to see the sunset with you.." You said shyly as you fiddled with your thumbs. He felt his heart strings being pulled when you did that.

"Hm? Did you say something?"
"N-nothing!"

You both watched the sunset together. More like only you. Shigeo was busy admiring you. The gentle look on your face as you gazed at the sunset, your messy but seemingly elegant h/c hair flowed with the gentle blows of wind, the orange rays of the sun gently tanning your s/c face, and just everything about you seemed perfect.

"Oh shoot, I almost forgot!" You muttered in realization. You turned to him. "Mob?" He flinched as you suddenly call out to him.

"Y-yeah?"

"You hungry? I brought some pocky with me, I thought that you would want some.." You trailed off, averting your eyes somewhere else. He swore that he felt steam flowing out of his ears right now.

"S-sure, I don't mind.." With his response, it excited you. You beamed at him and quickly scavenged your bag to find the single classic box of pocky. While you did that, Mob tried to calm himself down as he felt his explosion meter rise.

"Aha!" You weakly yelled in victory as you successfully found your packed pocky. You ripped the box open gently and gave it to him.

"Here! Have some!" You shot a smile at him.

"T-thank you.." He shyly muttered as he picked one out of the bunch. After his, you picked one yourself and delightfully munched on yours.

Shigeo noticed that you have chocolate on the corner of your lips. "Y/n, you have some chocolate on your lips.." He cooly said as he wiped the remaining chocolate that was on the corner of your lips. He noticed what he just did and exploded into different shades of red.

"A-ah! I-I'm sor-rry! I just wanted to h-help-" He frantically waved his hands in defense and tried to explain. You were blushing bright red too and stayed quiet for a while but seeing Mob so cute and panicky made you giggle.

"Mob! It's ok!" You said in between giggles. You smiled at him and gave him another stick of pocky.

"Here..calm down ok?" You stifled a laugh as you give him the stick. He reluctantly took the chocolate covered breadstick and quietly ate it. You decided to be mischievous and kiss the side of his cheek.
