it was just after 12pm on saturday. jack and finn were in the midst of a make out session, as finn's lips were slightly bruised from jack's kisses. the day was sunny despite it being winter, as it was los angeles. they had been making out for just over 10 minutes, and didn't plan to stop.

they heard footsteps down the hallway, but it didn't phase them as they knew jack's mom would knock if she needed them. but what caused them to pull apart was when they heard someone falling on the door, while trying to open it.

after a couple seconds of the door shaking, it opened to wyatt falling and jaeden standing behind him. jack and finn both laughed at them suddenly bursting into jack's bedroom.

"oh my fucking god," wyatt started speaking, seeing the position jack and finn were sitting in on jack's bed. "you guys were just sucking faces, weren't you?" wyatt continued excitedly.

"see dipshit! i told you," jaeden said, stepping over wyatt who was still on the ground. "and because of your lack of skills on opening doors, we completely missed it!" he finished, gesturing to jack and finn as he spoke. "i'm not chipping into the $80 you're losing to the groupchat." jaeden replied back while crossing his arms. jaeden's response to wyatt had caused finn to fall into a fit of laughter on jack's bed.

"here, we can do it more just for you." jack said in a sarcastic tone, purposely trying to wind them up. it caused finn to laugh more with his face in the blanket as he laughed.

"no, 'cause the mood was killed. and if we watched you make out that's just downright weird," wyatt said sadly, finally standing up and pushing his hair out of his face.

"oh, but you guys don't think it's weird for me to sit in the corner of your bedrooms and watch you make out constantly?" jack said with a smile on his face.

"whatever," wyatt sighed. "let's just go." he said while walking out the door, implying that all 4 of them were going somewhere together.

"right, and where are we going?" finn asked, after finally getting himself together from his laughing fit. jaeden had followed wyatt out the door but turned around after finn's question.

"on a double date, so if you guys aren't downstairs within 5 minutes, we'll leave without you." jaeden explained, with confidence in his voice. after that, he turned around and walked downstairs, to which jack and finn turned to each other and laughed.

after they had gotten themselves together and made themselves look a little more presentable, they walked out of jack's room and down the stairs, to which they found wyatt and jaeden conversing with jack's mom in the kitchen. jack's mom was making herself a lunch as she was just about to do some work on her laptop.

finn and jack waited for wyatt and jaeden to finish their conversation with angela, before they were on their way. they left the house and walked on the sidewalks for a little over 10 minutes before they arrived at a lunch restaurant.

the restaurant was more of a cafe, and the food it sold was healthier than fast food restaurants. they all walked inside to get themselves something to eat. finn and wyatt had both gotten various kinds of salad, jack had gotten a wrap, and jaeden got a sandwich. after they had bought their things, they walked back outside and sat and ate at one of the outdoor tables.

they sat and talked while eating their lunch for a while, but to them, time passed quickly. wyatt and jaeden would tell finn stories about them and jack, and finn would tell them all stories about his friends back in vancouver.

they ended up sitting there until just after 3pm, but before they left, jack wanted to go inside to the cafe to get a drink, and so finn went with him. when they got back inside, jack went up to the fridge with all the bottled drinks in it as finn stood next to him.
