During my run, I started to realize just how cold it was starting to get. It wasn't winter jacket cold but it was 'I shouldn't be wearing shorts' cold. I shortened my run because I was longing for the warmth of my house and a nice shower.

I really did love fall. The whole season and events that unfold within it. I love spooky movies and going to haunted houses. I'm never one to sit down and watch movies, but when it came to fall season, I'd sit down and binge watch. My favorite is Hocus Pocus, it's just unbeatable.

I walked through the front door and instantly took a sigh of relief. I was so happy to not have cold winds smacking my face. I went into my bathroom and undressed hopping into the shower.

Thoughts instantly started clouding my head. It was strange since I had just took a run and that usually helps organize my thoughts. This wasn't the kind of thought you could run from though.

Liam has been really nice to me these past few days. I have a crush on him and I one hundred percent couldn't deny that. I was setting myself up for another failure. I knew that he'd never go for someone like me. Why am I even crushing on him?

I got out of the shower and threw on just an oversized shirt I got from summer camp a few years back. Sue me, I walk around my room with just a shirt on. It's when I'm the most comfortable, the peak of comfortability. After a long day I just look forward to going home and throwing off my bra.

It was now a little bit past 7 o'clock and I was so grateful I did my homework already the other night. I cuddled into my bed and started to read for the first time in almost a week. I pulled out "Long Black Veil" by Jennifer Finney Boylan.

These past years I've been into books that get me at the edge of my seat. Sometimes I'll settle for a cheesy love story but mystery and action is my all time favorite genre.

"Hey are you going to eat kiddo" Casper asked about 10 minutes into me reading

He came in plopping down on my bed roughly. Snatching the book out of my hand, he read the synopsis to himself

The synopsis is the summary on the back of the book!

"Don't lose my spot!" I hollered grabbing the book from him before he finished reading the back

"Are you eating?"

"Yes I'll be down in a minute" I said putting the book mark on the page before closing it

"Oh by the way I have Alex over for dinner and he brought Jaxon so throw some clothes on please" Casper added before closing my door

Is this going to become a routine? This is like the millionth time they've been over for dinner. I was slightly annoyed because this meant I had to put a bra on. I quickly changed keeping on the same shirt and throwing on some simple gray sweats.

"What are we having good?" I yell running down the stairs

"We ordered pizza. Mom left a little bit ago for a work emergency." Casper said sitting in the arm chair

"You called me down for what?" I questioned rolling my eyes "the pizza isn't even here yet!"

I was really annoyed now. He interrupted my reading and the food isn't even here. Call me dramatic if you want, but when I get in my zone, it's better if no one interrupts me. I was in my zone.

"Calm down darling. Your dear brother Casper told us you like Halloween movies. I couldn't just let you pass up an opportunity to watch some with us!" he said smirking patting the couch beside him

I rolled my eyes and sat as far away from him as humanly possible. I can't lie, that's a sweet gesture but Jaxon is ALWAYS smirking and it makes me uneasy and queasy in my stomach.
