Her hood fell off. Pale white skin was revealed on her head. She had watered-down black hair coming down from her face. She snapped her fingers and her hair turned blood-red. It matched Bloodrayne's perfectly. But she could see Bloodrayne in the crowd. She had detailed dark green eyes that only shone in the starlight. She looked straight at Iris. "What do you want here, Ever?" She asked, adding the Ever with a cold, piercing shriek. Iris tried to meet her gaze, but it was like she was piercing ice straight into her already. "Help. Ever lose." She gasped out under what the gaze burned into her. "An Ever needs our help! An Ever! Their Happily Ever After isn't going so well, is it? And they turn to us!" She chuckled out to the crowd. There was immediate uproar. The Nevers screamed out their opinion. "Silence!" She called out. It was obvious she was the one who led them. "I think we have our answer. We'll only do it for a price." She answered, bearing a smile. A Never tried to call out protest, but she silenced him with a simple wave of her hand. "I want your Happily Ever After" She finished. "How are you supposed to do that?" Iris asked. The red-headed girl grinned. "I thought you read books. Well, there's a page in 'The Life of the Storian' where it states that if an Ever and Never agree, in their will, that the Never can have the Ever's Happily Ever After." She explained, turning to Iris. She held her hand. "Deal?" She questioned, waiting for Iris' response. Iris took her hand. "Deal." A spinning whirl of madness encased them. Then, it was over in a few seconds. Nothing seemed different. "Come on Nevers, we've got a king to beat." She called to the student army behind her. They charged into the battlefield. Iris quickly traced her steps to the invisible carpet. She hopped into the air, coming feet first onto it. She leant forward, making it faster. The Nevers were below her in deep battle with the kin, who was covered from head to toe in snake-like creatures. "Betrayal!" He shouted, trying to fend off the Nevers.
Amy was surprised at the sudden arrival of the Nevers. But then she saw Iris floating across the sky. She should've known Iris always had a plan in store. She always had done. She kept to the side, as Matthew her now assigned her healing duties when he found out about her finger glow power. She went from each wounded Ever, and even healed some Nevers. Charles was at her side nearly all the time, coming up with new wounds as excuses to be with her. Ruby was off doing whatever she could to defend the castle, and Matthew was head first in battle. Iris appeared next to her. "Hi" She whispered, not wanting to give away her location. Iris nodded, swept a flower spell onto her head, an iris appearing behind her ear. She shot an arrow at the king and rolled away ninja style. Amy was growing tired, she couldn't keep at this forever. But she had to if they were to win this battle. There was a final call for warriors. Oh no! Was this their final attack before retreating? She swept across the field, joining the crowd. They were all pointing their fingers at the king. "One!" Iris called out, next to a Never. "Two!" Shrieked the Never. Amy took note of what was happening. The king was struggling in chains, there was lava around them, Nevers were surrounding her..."Three!" The obvious leaders voices came. Amy knew that she had to fire a spell at the king. She shot a choking spell at him and the rest shot their own. The snake-like creatures shot off his body at once, revealing a dark green suit. "Aim!" Iris shouted, sweeping her finger across the students. An bow and arrow appeared in her hand, she aimed as Iris had said. "Fire!" The Never shrieked. The hundreds of arrows shot into the king. He fell down with a loud thud. The Never stood a foot on him. "Huzzah!" She called.
