Utter hell. That was the only word to describe the next three days, which consisted of leaps, vomiting, showering then passing out. Repeated every day. Everyday I came to grip a little more on the situation. The first day I cried. Planned some hair brained schemes to escape I knew would never work. Before reality hit me again.

At least the food amazing and I no longer had to pay for health insurance. Oh or taxes. A win in a way I guess.

From Zio I gleaned information about planets after every recuperating session. There were humans, higher humans consisting of the six elders, the Elders heirs. Which I would officially become at the Heir Celebration. There were Alveens, Nargigs, poppies, and many many more species. Two species ruling over the rest. The Zexri and the Eldest. Zexri species were fierce warriors. The largest and second oldest species. A Zexri king ruled over them and all other species, except the Eldest. From what I gathered the Eldest did not seem to ever appear unless there was a serious matter or special event they wished to attend. They did not meddle in the other species affairs. They stayed to themselves.
After every leap I awake to various sceneries out the windows. Bright stars scattered here and there like diamonds sprawled over a canvas of black velvet. The second morning there had been a galaxy of some kind surrounded by stars that were the color of the purest Caribbean waters. One could easily fall in love with space. The Milky Way had taken my breath away. No book in a library would describe the beauty of it. If I had had the choice to park the ship in that spot and go mad starting at its unfathomabe beauty I would of. General Alzez of course would not allow it saying I was being a child. Duties awaited me on Nixvacious. Not that anyone would tell me what those "duties" consisted of. Everytime I would ask General Alzez or Zio I got Elder Artimus will explain when we reach Nixvacious.

"How would you like to go on a walk with me?"
He asked over my loud chewing.

"About as much as a root canal. Where to? The dreaded infirmary?"

The mountain of a man placed the flats at my feet and motioned for me to put them on.

"No, I want you to meet the caption along with some of the guards aboard this ship. As you know today is the last jump then we will be hours away from our planet. After that you will be escorted to the Elder's home. You may not be seeing most of these beings again. A quick thank you for their dedication to your safe arrival would be appropriate."

I slid the slippers on my feet feeling the swish of the white cotton dress rubbing against my shins.

"Guess I should thank them for not killing me during the leaps." I chuckled.

General Alzeez failed to find the humor.

"It was a little more than that but yes."

His response left me wanting answers I knew I would not be getting at this time. I would ask later.

"General on Earth ships have names. Most sea ships were named after women. Does this ship have a name?"

The stoic man hummed his approval at the topic of our conversation.

"Yes. The Elders did hold onto a few sentimental habits from Earth. This ship's is named Arrow. While it's not the most luxurious in Elder Artemus's fleet it is the fastest. Thus the name."

Why would Elder Artimus dispense his safest ship to pick only me up...

We approached two black doors with a strange emblem on them. One I could not make out the same on the lapel of the captains suit.

"Ms. Wilde our your shoulders back and stand up tall."

Later I would bombard him with my questions but for now I would obey. Squaring my shoulders General Alzeez pushed open the doors. Once the door was cracked the sounds of the room spilled out. Sound proof room. Men and women of different species paced about. Some where pulling levers, other monitoring screens. I reminded myself not to stare. So many people, different species and I had been left alone the majority of this trip. A deep boom of a voice came from the General beside me.
