Back to the Future ~ A miraculous fanfiction

Kleo Agreste

Jonas led in his black cat pyjamas on his air bed. Emma led in her fluffy pink mouse pyjamas on her air bed. Marinette was outside on her balcony.

The moon was up and the stars were out. It was about 10 o'clock at night and they stared at the ceiling.
"She's here, isn't she?" asked Jonas, keeping his eyes on the ceiling.
"You feel it too?"
"Yup. A huge wave of negative energy. That's what will happen to them."
"When do you think she'll make her way over to the bakery?"
"Mmmm.... give it three minutes 12 seconds."

Meanwhile, Marinette stared at the view.
"Everything is going to get complicated now, isn't it?" sighed Marinette.
"Probably. I can't even wrap my head around it. Apparently 5 timelines are being messed with this one so there should be 5 kids. But the prophecy only states 4 kids," explained Tikki.
"Yeah but how do we fix it?" wailed Marinette.

"Easy. Kill those three and let me live. I am apparently the third here so it means I'm stuck here, doesn't it?" cackled a voice.

A girl, around the same age as Marinette, Jonas and Emma, stepped from the shadows. She had the bee miraculous on.
"Kleo, right? Chloe's daughter," sighed Marinette. "Your on the air bed next to Jonas."
"Great. Next to a smelly boy. Pollen, buzz off," groaned Kleo as she stepped onto Marinette's balcony and went inside.

"Three down. One to go. Apparently his name is Lee," said Marinette sadly. "This is going to be a long couple of months," sighed Tikki.

Marinette went inside and looked at Kleo.
"There are bee pyjamas under your pillow. Spare toothbrush in the bathroom," explained Marinette.
"So who got here first?" asked Kleo, grabbing her pyjamas. "Oh wait. I don't care!"

Jonas and Emma rolled their eyes.
"Now listen here young lady!" growled Marinette. "I may not be YOUR mother, but I am responsible for you and you are under my care."

Jonas' eyes widened as he stared at Marinette. She wasn't anything his mother described her as.
"Fine," groaned Kleo. "Go ahead."
"The rules are simple. Don't let your kwami meet the kwami of this timeline. Don't mention to Chloe OR Adrien that your their kid. Don't transform. Don't use your real last name. And be nice when around my parents. Understood?" explained Marinette.

Kleo nodded in agreement before entering the bathroom to change.
"She's gonna be a nightmare," muttered Marinette, just quiet enough so Jonas and Emma wouldn't hear.

Kleo emerged from the bathroom afterwards and sat on her air bed and stared into space. Emma and Jonas were asleep by then and Marinette was busy designing her dress for Alya's upcoming birthday.

Marinette turned to face the three teenagers then sat beside Kleo.
"I know that look. It's the same as your father's," sighed Marinette. Kleo had the same green eyes as Adrien. Her eyes looked tearful and she was deep in thought.
"W-What look?" stammered Kleo, getting ready to put up her defences and shut out the world. She was getting ready to deal with her problems on her own and be the brat she was raised to be. Kleo turned her head so she was no longer facing Marinette.

"Kleo. I have seen that look one too many times from Adrien. Don't put up your shields like your mother does. Tell me, what's life like in your timeline?" sighed Marinette, putting a hand on Kleo's shoulder. Kleo looked at Marinette sadly.

"M...My mum is dead," sighed Kleo.
"C-Chloe's dead?" gasped Marinette, suddenly feeling guilty. "How?"
"Well, it all started when a woman named Lila confessed her love for my father. That's when the war between them started. My father never knew why mum assumed there was competition between them because he loved my mum. But she went to the extremes. Until one day, Lila led her to a trap. She led her to an alleyway where skilled criminals killed her," explained Kleo.
