It was 1 in the morning and everyone in Paris was asleep.

In a gloomy and isolated alleyway, just south of the school that Marinette and Adrien attended, there was a disturbance in the balance of the timelines.

A blue portal opened and a girl, Marinette and Adrien's age, (14) stepped through. She looked behind her and watched the portal close.

She frowned and left the alleyway.
"Hey there little lady. Are you lost?" said a man who was sat behind the stairs of the school. The girl took one look at him and scowled.
"Your drunk and I'm 14. I could have you put in prison," she said. The man cowered back into the shadows as she continued her journey to the bakery.

There was a single light on at the top of the bakery. She found another alleyway beside the bakery and looked down at her necklace.
"Mulo, get quakey!" she cried. She jumped onto the dumpster then onto a wall and onto the balcony of the bakery.

Marinette heard the thud and rushed to her balcony. She saw the girl detransform from the hero to civilian.
"What?" gasped Marinette.
"Hello. You must be Marinette. We need to talk," said the girl as the mouse kwami went back into the girl's pocket.

Marinette frowned in confusion but invited her in.
"So where are we in history? I can't reveal spoilers mum says so you need to tell me what has happened," asked the girl.
"What do you mean?" asked Marinette.
"This is going to be harder than I thought," sighed the girl. "I am from the future."
"Oh. Did you travel here through Bunnix's portal?" asked Marinette.
"Ok so that has happened," said the girl, nodding.
"Well, the other day, I became the guardian of the miraculous!" whispered Marinette.

The girl nodded.
"But I have some questions for you," said Marinette.
"I figured so. Go ahead," said the girl.
"Who are you? Why do you have the mouse kwami and why are you here?" asked Marinette.
"My mother gave me the miraculous to help me. I can't tell you why I am here. My name is Emma. Emma Agreste," explained the girl.

Marinette's eyes widened.
"I always wanted to have a kid named Emma," she commented.
"I know. I'm the eldest duh. I am the only girl of our family," sighed Emma, rolling her eyes.
"Our? Agreste? Emma? Eldest?" said Marinette, repeating the clues that led to one thing. "Your my daughter! And Adrien's daughter! And you have siblings!"

"There we go," said Emma with a smirk. "So my mum said I have to be enrolled in the school with you."
"Fine. But you cannot tell Adrien!" hissed Marinette.
"Agreed," said Emma with a reluctant nod. "Now I'm going to sleep and so should you!"

The next day, Emma transformed and went down into the alleyway. She woke Marinette up on time and waited the presence of her young mother.

About 10 minutes later, Marinette emerged from the bakery.
"Emma, lets go," hissed Marinette. Emma appeared from the alleyway and they crossed the road to the school.

Alya was with Nino on the steps and they both were taken aback by Marinette not only being with a new friend but being early.
"Who's this?" asked Alya.
"Emma. Emma.... Jones," replied Emma, with hesitance in her voice.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Alya and this is Nino," she smiled.
"I know."

They gave her a weird look.
"From the LadyBlog!" cried Emma, trying to save herself.
"Aww! A fan!" squealed Alya.

A car pulled up and Adrien stepped out. Emma rolled her eyes as he came over.
"Hey! Who's this?" asked Adrien.
"I'm Emma Jones. And your Adrien Agreste," smirked Emma.
"Another fan?" asked Adrien awkwardly.
"Nope!" said Emma with a smirk.
"She's... new here," said Marinette nervously.

The bell rang and she introduced herself to Ms Bustier.
"Ok Ms Jones, take a seat next to Lila Rossi," smiled Ms Bustier.

Emma's eyes widened. She took one look at Lila and nodded awkwardly.
She sat beside Lila.
"Hey there! I'm Lila!" cried Lila.
"Mhm."
"I've met Jagged Stone. Wanna be friends?" smirked Lila.
"I... I don't have time for friends," lied Emma. "Dad says I have too much of a busy schedule." That was a lie. The future Adrien wanted her to be free and not trapped like he was.
"Well, we can always disobey your dad?" suggested Lila.
"Maybe you can but there is no way in HELL I will," said Emma with a shrug.

'So that's Lila Rossi. The event hasn't happened and I can't ruin anything! Now, I need to keep an eye out for the other three. They are bound to show up soon. Mum said they will all go straight to her to threaten her.'
