Karma Killings

Chapter 9

Olivia is an excellent sidekick, especially since so many people still think she's a hero. She's good at lying too, so nobody even suspects it. This is helpful because people will tell her when someone is doing something wrong, anything from people who let their dogs bark too loud to people who commit mass murder, so we don't have to even look for people to kill.
Speaking of killing, we're heading to the house of someone to kill right now, some parents who abused their children and for some reason keep getting custody of them again. Like I said before, people rarely change. We made a plan for when we got to the house, I make an entrance, Olivia goes in and gets the kids out, then we kill. It starts off fine sure, I pop open a window and Olivia goes in, but the shitty people inside happen to be light sleepers. That's just our fucking luck, isn't it?
"WHAT THE FU-UCK IS DIS SHIII?" the drunken father slurs. Just his voice makes me want to kill him right now, but I agreed to let Olivia take the lead and she wants the kids out first. She's a bit better at this whole planning thing than I am.
"Sit the fuck down." I command in a stern voice. He takes another step closer to me and I toss a small trap at him, when it hits the ground near his foot it clamps on tight to his ankle and screws itself into the floor. He can't go anywhere now. I toss another of the same device at the mother's feet when she walks in complaining about the noise. Here comes Olivia with the kids.
"EY! WHERE DA YA THINK YOU'RE GOIN? GIVE THOSE LIL RATS BACK! DID THEY PUT YA UP TO THIS?" The drunk man shouts over his shoulder at Olivia. The woman looks back over her shoulder as well, she seems to recognize Olivia.
"HELP! HELP US! SAVE US AND OUR CHILDREN FROM THIS VILLAIN!" she pleads with Olivia, I know that's not gonna happen. Olivia leads the children to the door and opens it.
"Run." She commands, and the kids do as their told. The lady is still yelling at her to save them.
"Shut up bitch." she says, in the same serious tone. The woman looks shocked, then horrified, as she starts to realize what's actually happening.
"Why are you doing this to us?" The woman cries at her, she looks at her, and even with the mask over her face, I can tell Olivia is pissed.
"You are horrible people, you don't deserve to have children, you don't deserve anything." she says, looking at them both. "You don't deserve to live!" With that, she starts beating them to death. She bashes in the man's skull even after he's dead, destroying it until it's hard to tell he even had a face at all. Damn, she's really good at this!
When she's done we walk away and go back to our lair. We watch as the News reporter talks about the horrific murder of these people and the now orphaned children. Of course, they blame me for the crime and when the children are interviewed they say Olivia saved them. We just watch and laugh along, knowing what really happened.
