"You want that young love,
like passing emotion,
that shit that you dream of
I'm just sitting at home smoking joints
like it's my job 'cause that's what my dream was
I get too tough on myself
Sitting alone making fun of myself
Is it so wrong to just want someone else"

"I have arrived to rescue a bad bitch!" My cousin, Raelyn, announced as I walked out of the McLean Hospital. My mother thought sending me away to the states and paying top dollar for me to be fixed at yet another psychiatric hospital would make everything better. There's nothing in the world that can fix me though, and I've already accepted that. Take the meds and play along, that's the best way to slide under the radar, and the only way I was able to get out of the hospital.

"Thank you for coming to get me. I just want to get the hell out of this state."

"Well seeing as you have absolutely no where to stay, I'll let you stay with me in my condo in San Francisco."

"A condo? Yeah, that wont last long." It's not even me being picky. Mentally, I just can't tolerate being in small spaces for too long. It's why most nights I wouldn't be able to sleep in this hospital due to the facilities being so confined.

"What plans do you have so far?"

"I'm going to do the only thing I know how to do, work. As soon as I find a prime location here in the states, I'll work on opening our first location in North America. This is what Papa wanted." I reminded her of what our grandfather was trying to do business wise before his passing. My grandfather trained me, wanting me to be knowledgeable in everything surrounding the family business.

Rae has never been big into the business, not that she had to be. We both are heirs to the company through our grandfather and have the option to opt out of running the company. Which Rae did and was basically pushed out from the estate. Our family wants to rid themselves of anyone who doesn't fit into their perfect portrait and Rae not having a desire to work at twenty-three is one of the things they won't accept. Not to mention that she came out as a lesbian for her eighteenth birthday. Which in their mind translates to her not producing another heir to continue the family legacy.

"Good, don't let them discourage your plans. Maybe you should open it in San Francisco."

"Definitely not. San Francisco is super congested and filthy. Plus business tax out there is ridiculous. I would never. Maybe in a close by city or something. I'll look around. I need to find a house first and foremost. Isn't Kyla a realtor?" I asked in reference to her fiancé.

"Yes, and I already have her looking for places for you. I know how picky you are, and I have your main requirements down: panoramic windows, open floor plan, secluded, city view, vaulted ceilings, pool." Those are my mandatory requirements, but my list of preferences definitely span longer than that.
