Nagala-Chapter 7: Blushing Spree!
Abigail was on her way to school, riding the bus, and was already close to her destination. Believe it or not, Rov was staying hidden on top of the bus and was lying on his backside. He decided to tag along and stay out of sight to not raise suspicion. Abigail's leg still hurt but it wasn't as bad as the time before Rov's materialization. Sidney and Mackenzie were taunting her again, pointing out that her leg was just an act.
They had no idea, how lucky she was. Because one screw-up and those bullies wouldn't be bothering her anymore. Rov would make sure that she was safe. Abigail had no idea the man she had created was following her, she guessed he was going to try and search for the previous tutor while she was at school.
The bus stopped in front of the drop-off, so the kids could get off and she waited for everyone to do so. With each student passing by, not once had she looked up at any of them. Her gaze remained on her backpack that rested in her lap, the thoughts of her and Rov's plan swirled in her mind. She thought everyone was finally off, so when she stood and tried to get out from between the seats, Sidney slammed into her. "Oops, I'm so sorry,~" she lied and laughed, before pulling on Mackenzie's hand.
Abigail was knocked back down in her seat from that accident. She groaned and stood back up, seeing that those bullies were already off the bus. Picking up her bag, the said item got hooked around her shoulders, and down the steps, she went. As usual, the students were lively and loud. That didn't stop her from walking past them all and making her way towards the front doors. Rov watched everything from on top, surprised that no one had seen him. He slowly rose and noticed a blue stained, glass dome running the full length of the walkway where the double doors were. His hidden eyes scanned the students below and nodded, after knowing no prying eyes were around. He hopped from the bus to the dome and nimbly ran to the other end.
His attention was glued to Abigail and everyone else. The man had no idea what the tutor looked like, the only thing he had to rely on was listening and learning all he could about her.
Abigail rushed through the school and to the office that was on the left side, passing by a lot of students in the hall. The principal's office was right through the doors and when she hurried through them, there sat a woman in a formal suit behind a desk. "Principal..." She said and panted, with her green eyes meeting blue ones.
"Abigail, it's been a while," The principal stated and looked back down at the papers she was writing on. She had blonde hair up in a bun and a white satin blouse beneath that formal jacket.
"Yeah... Hey, I... Have something to give you. It's from my parents," she said. Nervousness kept riding up her body, never lying before can make you feel funny. Seeing the principal look over with that serious look of hers and nod, Abigail paced over and stood before the woman's desk. The young woman dug through her school bag and pulled out the letter she'd made, before placing it on the surface.
With no hesitation, the principal picked the letter up and unfolded it. Her blue eyes scanned the contents and a hum escaped her lips. "I see, well you certainly don't have to worry. Your last tutor died in a car incident a week ago... Sorry that we didn't tell you sooner," the woman said and blinked, then looked back down at her papers.
Abigail's mouth was agape and her eyes were wide. What a coincidence it was, for that lie to be true in the end. Her expression was hysterical, she was so shocked about the previous tutor being dead and was now worried about the tutor's family. "How's... Her family doing, how're they handling her death?" she asked with concern.
