Game Blame

"I will point blame and name fingers!" as one notorious pirate wrongly said, is exactly what humans wrongly do.

Like the Agents of S.M.A.S.H they have become Agents of Retrogression, bringing things that are, to nothing, not by works...but by words. I walked within the community and I heard the old blame the young saying, "They're the reason why our cultural values are lost. Their acts of indecency cause problems to us and see now...we have developed many wrinkles because of them!", but who best could teach these youths the old creeds except the old?

"The old have failed the youths" I blamed.

The young blamed the old saying, "The old are anti-progressive. They take away our freedom to choose. They give us curfews and long dresses to wear...but we slit those dresses to the thighs coz that's what we want. Their minds are overcast with un-necessary rules and they do not retire when it's our turn to work!", but who except the ones before them built the environment they grew up in? With whom do they identify themselves?

"There is arrogance in the new" I concluded.

I heard the teacher saying, "The student fails because he plays too much and he doesn't study!", but the student defended himself saying, "It's the teacher's fault I always fail. He teaches us things that never come in the exams!"

"The teacher and the student are both to blame. They established this institution of learning that gives everyone constant headaches!" I pointed out.

"Why are you so stingy with your money? Buy my fruits and veggies!" the frustrated vendor ordered the people passing by and they accused her of selling rotten food.

"Why can't she just give away her products instead of waiting for them to rot...and then throwing them away?" I wondered. "And why can't the people negotiate a lower price for the products? Wasteful is what humans should be called!", and I also walked past the vendor.

The community leaders blamed their subordinates for not complying with the law. The community members grumbled, "How can we not break the law, when you set laws that can easily be broken?"

It was not the community leaders who were to blame, neither was it the subordinates nor the law, the old nor the young, the vendor nor the customer and neither was the teacher nor the student to blame for anything. It was I! I was the reason why they blamed each other. I walked among them to cause chaos, as is my purpose. They should have blamed me for everything but they could not see me.

My name is both a noun and a verb and just like death, love and hate..., these friends of mine, I am everywhere! I might be in your head right now, this very day, if not tomorrow. My name...is Blame...from whom this game...came!
