SPRING IS HERE

Sometimes it feels like drowning in endlessness

Sometimes it hurts like shrapnel of breathlessness

Sometimes the world is not just fair to you

Sometimes cutting off feels the safest to you

Anxiety is like poison, the slow one

You swallow it from a bad experience

And slowly it creeps on your mind, a smoke very dense

It kills your optimistic thoughts

Your ability to recall the happiness you forgot

Eventually it tries to kill you

Feels as if the world has stripped your hue

No, this poem is not to recall your past experience

It is in fact to help you return to freedom

For I have been through it too

I know what it is to lose your hue

You don't need anyone but yourself

I learned this after falling myself

You are great, you should know

There is no comparison

We're all unique, in different colors we glow

No matter how dark a room you are in

A ray of light will reach your soul

Make it your strength, a strong rope to hold

Climb it, so you can come out of the hole

Scratch through the wall to brighten the light

Keep scratching in madness, just fight

Fight until the whole room is enlightened

Embrace then the sculptures you made in your darkest all-nighters

You are free now my friend, light has reached you

Don't close your gates, in fear you might tend to

Let the beautiful souls embrace your new avatar

A butterfly you've become, you just tore your cocoon apart

Blossom the garden that waits for you

There you'll find more of your hue

Dance with them until your wings give up

For spring is here, lighten yourself up
