Now or Never

Chapter Four: Friend or Foe.

earlier that morning...

Jimin softy opened his eyes and stared at the off white bubbly ceiling feeling as tired as can be. "Already..?" He said sighing to himself feeling as if he only got an hour of sleep. He pulled his legs off the bed and walked shrugged his backpack which he had packed just in case almost knowing he would have stayed over anyways. He pulled up the bag and set it down on the now messy blanket covering the bare mattress. He pulled out a fresh pair of socks, his favorite black skinny jeans, and a white button-up shirt. He put on his clothes and rolled up his sleeves delicately to keep from wrinkling it as much as possible. He slipped into his black high top converse and tied the pearly white laces. He then walked over to the mirror examining the half-asleep figure that was standing before him.

He ruffled up his hair still not satisfied with how frizzy it was, or as Raekyung liked to call it, "fluffy". He stretched throwing his hands in the air letting out a small grunt and yawned.

Slowly but surely he walked over to his sister's room and slugged over to her bed. He leaned over her and stared at the sleeping beauty knowing she hated it when he did it. She awoke slowing opening her eyes as if she just knew he was there. When she caught glimpse of the boy standing over her, her eyes widened and she threw her head up. Bang! She hit his forehead with hers and she threw her head up in despair throwing him upward causing him to rub his head.

"YAH"

"SSSHHHHH!" He whispered to her quickly waving his hands around in her face to silence her.

"RaeKyung is still sleeping! If we woke her up she'd come over and knock us both on the side of the head!"

"Aish fine." She said now wide awake crossing her arms turning her head away from her brother.

"Awh c'mon don't tell me your mad." He giggled. He crawled onto the bed and faced her trying to get her to look at him.

"Awee did the poor baby get scared?" He teased pouting at her.

"YAH-!" She yelled violently turning towards him getting ready for battle.

"I said to be quiet!!!" He said covering her mouth with his hand.

"Right sorry, I forgot." She said quenching her teeth.

He crawled off the bed and stood up fixing his now wrinkled shirt.

"We're going to see mom and dad. Get ready." He said walking out of her room. She looked at him as he left frowning not wanting to get up but instead sleep in.

"Oh," he said leaning back in against the doorway of her room, "just cause your short doesn't mean you should wear heels this time. They know you haven't grown any since you last saw them." He said snickering.

"YAH!" She said whisper yelling at him, "you're not any better chimmy!!" She said pointing at him annoyed and glaring.

He cringed as he heard that nickname come out of her mouth. She knows he hates it, and she uses it to her advantage.

"Aish, just hurry up and get dressed." He said annoyed.

He leaned back out of her doorway and walked to the kitchen. He opened the fridge door hoping to find something. "They really need to go shopping." He said sadly since there was no food even though he already knew there wouldn't be. He left over the counter and remembered he should probably write a note to RaeKyung that they wouldn't be home till the next morning. He ran and grabbed a pen but couldn't find a note pad.

"Hmm... where can I get a post-it-note?" He thought you himself. "Ah!" He said pointing his finger in the air.

He tiptoed to the other side of her bed where she was sleeping. He remembered that she always kept post-it notes with her in the side pocket of her bag. He popped open the side pouch and pulled out a post-it-note. Pulling one off one he slid the rest of the notes back into the pocket and snapped it closed.
