Jennie's POV
I have decided to stopping by for gas before meeting Lisa.
Based on what Lisa had said, she found a really cool classic car that had been sitting unused and unvolved for years, so she bought and ready to restore it as soon as possible. So I promised her to meet at the shop while she choose and buy some stuff she would need for the car.
I was minding my own business, pumping my gas when a group of boys walked up to my car and they looked oddly familiar. At first I thought they maybe friends of Kai's, but they definitely didn't look like his type.
"Can I help you?" I tried to keep my voice strong as I spoke, showing no weak spots.
"Yeah." The 'leader' spoke up first. "You're Lisa Manoban's girl, right?"
I looked between him and his friends, suddenly remembered where I'd know him from.
Mino.
Lisa's rematch from her last race.
I frozen in my place, unsure and skeptical of their intentions. I didn't know if they'd been following me, or if this was a coincidence which put me more in panic. Lisa wasn't here with me, I was alone despite the few cars at the station and that was enough to have me completely beside myself.
"Look." I cleared my throat, eyes glancing over at the scrolling numbers. "I'm not sure-"
"You don't need to lie." Mino smirked, moving a little closer. My heart pounded inside my rib cage, already getting bad vibes from the man. "I saw you at the race with her. I just have a question for you – well, maybe a few."
"I can't help you." I rushed, the pump finally halting the fuel being fed into my car. I hurriedly put it back, while also trying my best to not give away my vulnerability.
"I think you can." He tiled his head, tongue darting out to lick his lips.
"You're wrong." I nearly snapped, going to walk away, but he blocked me.
"I don't think I am, Jennie Kim." My face turned as white as sheet, color definitely drained from my face. "You see, I've done some research on you. Four point two GPA, YG high school, and an only daughter. You're dad is an ex football player, you have three cousins, three goodfriends and you're grandma Ellen had cancer some years ago, living in the same house now as when your dad was growing up and you don't know you're moms parents. Did I get it about right?"
Shakily, I inhaled and exhaled, trying to find words, but my throat become restricted with fear. These men weren't just some trash talking idiots, they were real life thugs who would most definitely do me harm if given no other choice.
With that in mind, I did the first thing I could think of and that was going into my car from the passenger side. Of course, Mino was faster and slammed it shut, grabbing onto me with a harsh grip.
I let out a small cry of pain, and he smirked.
"You listen and you listen closely." He snarled, a sadistic glint in his eyes. "You're going to do me a favor or I won't hesitate causing harm to any of your lovely family members."
I didn't answer, but I was listening.
"You are going to get your girlfriend to meet me at Rocket's gym tonight at midnight. Tell her if she bring anyone, or tells anyone about this, I'll start by going after you. Do you understand?"
I nodded frantically, out of fear and pain from his grip on my arms. He smiled, and leaned in, pressing a kiss to my forehead. I cringed internally.
