It was the next weekend, and you spent a large portion of your Saturday cleaning up your room. Your heart was thumping really hard, almost tearing from your rib cage with each loose clothing piece you picked off of your floor. You had invited Howard over to discuss your secret to him, to help him get some clarity on the situation. You thought it would also help him keep quiet about everything if he knew the complete truth. And to make things a little less awkward, you decided to make your room somewhat decent. It's not like he's the cleanest person you knew, but you thought it would at least be a nice thing to do.

But in all honesty, you were nervous. You knew he had the right to know, but what about Randy? Theresa? Would they even believe you? In all honesty, you were almost debating about telling Theresa. But after what happened with the Raibaisan, you didn't want to take chances of her being put into more danger. You thought it best to keep quiet, for now. It was for her safety. As for Randy, you knew it wasn't fair. He was one of your best friends! How could you just tell one but not the other?? It's the same reasoning, you thought. Keep him safe. You're only talking to Howard because he found out on accident. Plus he already knew who the Ninja was, so why not let him know who you were, too?

"(Y/n)! Your friend is here!"

You had just set the last shirt in your hamper, looking toward your bedroom door. Taking a quick breath, you cup our hands around your mouth. "Send him up, Mom!" You say, sitting on your bed.

You heard footsteps ascend the staircase outside before your doorknob clicked. It opened, Howard standing in the doorway with ice cream in hand. "'Sup, (L/N)?" He said, looking around. "Like what you did with the place."

"Y-Yeah, thanks," You mumble, shuffling a little to the right. You then pat the spot beside you, "Close the door." He shrugged and pushed the door closed, stepping over and placing himself beside you.

Taking a few more licks of his ice cream, he glanced at you. "So," He starts. "Kunoichi, huh?"

"Yeah..." You mutter, glancing away. "Pretty wild."

He nods, taking a bigger bite now. "And no one else knows?"

You shake your head. "Just you," You confirm.

He hums a bit, then holds out his hand. "Lemme see the mask,"

You seemed to hesitate, but knowing you could trust him, you slowly reached into your bag and pulled it out, handing it to him. He grips it and looks at it, turning it to observe all sides. "Yup. That's a mask all right."

You giggle a little and take it back. "C'mon Howard, be serious," you say.

"I am!" He says back, then points to the small hole on the back of your mask. "What's that for?"

You look at it, then back at him, using one hand to hold your hair up in a ponytail demo. "It's where my hair goes."

"Ah," He said, quickly finishing his ice cream. He then wipes his hands on your blanket, making you huff. However, you didn't say anything. But something did come to you.

"You know who the Ninja is," You say, looking at him. "You didn't tell him who I was, did you?"

He shook his head. "Nah," He said. "Couldn't be bothered. Besides, what's the fun in ruining the biggest revelation of this century this soon?"

You sigh in relief, smiling a bit. "Thanks," You say. You then look a little confused, crossing your arms. "You're a lot calmer about this than I thought you would be."

He shrugged. "Let's be honest, so many shoob things have been happening lately, nothing surprises me anymore."

"You sure?" You say, lightly nudging him with your elbow. "You almost got eaten by Doug the other day!"
