A Minor Hiccup

Vale streets

As you walked through the streets of Vale you were replying to angry messages from Ty. You had ditched school a bit early to check out spots you could take Yang on your date tonight. A restaurant? A club? So many options but you weren't sure which one to pick, Jaune had also mentioned a new Spruce Willis movie. Just then your scroll beeps with another message.

Ty: (text) I can't believe your ditching class!

You: (text) Relax it's only Port's class.

Ty: That doesn't excuse it, your missing his lecture.

You: Let me guess he's talking about a time when he wrestled a Ursa.

Ty: It's a Creep actually.

You: I rest my case, look just tell him I wasn't feeling well, besides your the ones who put me up to this.

Ty: Fine but your on your own with the homework.

You chuckled to that as you put the scroll back in your pocket before you started walking again. After another 15 minutes you now had a small list of places to decide from, feeling a little tired you sat down at a nearby bench in front of a ice cream shop to rest your feet for a moment.

You: Going for ice cream wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Just as you thought about the ice cream a suddenly sweet scent fills the air around you and someone lightly blew into your ear, their cool breath causes you to jump sideways on the bench.

You: What the-

Standing next to you making a soundless giggle and holding a Neapolitan ice cream cone was the same girl you had just had a reunion with two weeks ago.

You: ....Neo, I should have known.

Neo: Miss me Dum dum?

You: Pretty sure I made my feelings clear on that last time?

Neo: (leans close to Y/n's face) Even if it's the real me?

She then takes a seat on the bench, You could tell that she wasn't using her semblance this time compared to that night you last saw her. With a sigh you leaned back on the bench and stared up at the sky.

You: Forever the ice cream girl huh?

Neo: (holds out cone) Would you like a taste?

You: I'll pass thanks.

Neo: Or would you rather taste me? I was your favorite favor wasn't I?

You: (red) That's it I'm leaving.

You were about to get up to leave when you felt Neo grab at you jacket sleeve, she gave you a sad look before letting go so she could sign.

Neo: Just stay for a bit.

You: (sighs) Fine but only because I've been walking all day.

Neo stares at your face intently before her gaze stared to shift down.

Neo: That necklace, since when did you have that?

You: Don't see why that should matter to you.

Neo:....

For some reason she started acting strange, her eyes stayed on your pendant.

You: (putting hand over pendant) Don't even think about stealing it.

Neo: (smiles) Would you chase me down for it?
