At night, she would experience strange dreams about a hand leading her away but she thought nothing of it. After all, her birth and whole existence was nothing of the ordinary.
"Kirsten, would you like to come to a book signing with me and Cameron," Dove called to her as she was making her way up to her room.

She was hesitant of the idea but decided to go and partake in some bonding with her new siblings. A driver took them there, and at first nobody was talking but suddenly the topic of her gloves was started.

"Don't you want to get some new ones?" Dove asked her as she noticed Kirsten suddenly pull her hands further away. She knew they were bound to be curious and it made sense to her of their sudden proposal to go out with her. She never even thought of the idea of getting them replaced.

"No, I'm quite fine with these."

"Can I have a look at them?"

She was quite startled with what Dove had said, surely she couldn't take them off and show them to her. The mere idea of it sent shivers down her spine. Cameron noticed her sudden discomfort and a hidden but sinister smirk was on his face.

"No!" she screamed with a dreadful look as Dove was now more curious as to why Kirsten reacted in this way.

Suddenly, she felt a sudden cool breeze on her hand, a feeling which she hardly ever experienced due to the warmth of the gloves. Her left one was gone. and she fixed her eyes upon Cameron, who now held her glove and was waving it like a prize he had just won.

"What a wonderful feeling, now I understand why you don't want a new pair,''

"I like it, give me the other one."

Kirsten was completely horrified as Cameron was now approaching her. By all means she would not allow them to find out. She would not allow herself to die!

"Stay away from me!" Kirsten screamed as she felt she was about to touch him with her exposed hand.

He suddenly stopped and his proud looking face was now replaced with a mortified looking one.Behind Kirsten he saw a shadow and a sudden sinister sensation filled him.

In a sudden flash, Cameron had seen his older self dying a sad and dreadful death. He snatched the glove from Dove and threw it at Kirsten.

"Demon girl!" were his last words as he grabbed Dove and the car suddenly took off.

Kirsten was confused, in a flash of seconds something had made Cameron change. She knew she hadn't touched him in any way and her only known peculiarities was her sense of touch. Maybe it was something else that was helping her. She truly didn't know. The only thing on her mind at that moment was how she would get home.
