She was entranced by him, more specifically she found herself being driven by curiosity. As they stood there, spectating the fox before them, she had the sudden urge to touch his hand. Maybe this was the opportunity she needed in order to finding the reason as to why she couldn't see any of his life fragments. They were already sitting there, she was only a hand away from him.
Slowly, she started pulling the gloves. The feeling of the silk on her hand, which she was not accustomed to, was a familiar feeling by now. Her delicate hands were not exposed and it was a sight which she was not used to gazing at. He was beside her, his eyes staring at the sights before them. When looking at him at this angle, she thought that he had quite the captivating features.
Her hands moved and she didn't find herself touching his own, but rather his right cheek. This feeling of another person's skin was one which she longed to feel. The need to use gloves was not needed with him. The reason as to why she didn't see anything, was not important at the moment. All that was, was the calm and easing sensation she felt.
At first he was startled, but he found the feeling of her palm calming. He was the first person whom she could touch without the need of gloves. No need to be scared that she would see any unwanted sights, she felt at ease. It was a feeling that was quite strange to her, but one that she would have liked to experience more often. Maybe she didn't want to get close to him because she needed to, maybe it was now because she wanted to. He came into her life suddenly, a light in the darkness that had revolved around her for so long.
Slowly, she let go and as she started to put on her gloves, he put his hand on top of hers as his face now slowly inclined towards hers.
¨Why would you do that?¨his face was merely an inch away from hers and she could now feel the warmth of his breath.
¨I can't tell you at the moment.¨ was her only reply as she now found her chest grow tighter as she was gazing into the depths of his eyes.
¨Don't put them on.¨ he said, as he had now realized his current position and went back to sitting beside her.
They were merely half way in, and she stood there gazing at her hands. If only she had been born normal, none of this would be necessary. Yet again, because of her abilities, she met him. Maybe it was all part of her fate and a way of making up for the misery which she had been experiencing from young.
At this point, all she knew was that beside her, stood someone just like her in a similar aspect. Not entirely human, someone possessing a unique peculiarity. She was not entirely aware of what he was capable of, but in his case , he didn't even know she was different as well. Time stood still, as she found herself staring at the ground, awaiting for it to just swallow her up and end it all.
In a moment, he suddenly got up and stretched his hand towards her. Her own holding his, with gloves now in her pockets, she now found herself leaving the garden holding his hand with only the blissful memories of what had occurred and a deep silence.
