The Feeling of Touch

Chapter 5

Scared and confused, she found herself roaming the streets of the place where they had left her. The look on Cameron's face was all they she was seeing. Whatever he had seen, was surely mortifying and he thought she had caused it. Something pulled on her dress and she was taken aback when she saw a hand. Sure enough, it was the same hand that led her to the box. This time she was more scared and confused as to why only a hand would exist. A sudden wave came at her and it was like the hand was using this as a way to talk to her. She felt more safe and reassured. It was the hand of the coven. The same coven that brought upon her the curse that she was born with. This hand was the being that had been protecting her. It was the cause of Cameron's sudden outburst.

Kirsten now knew that things like this existed and it was quite a shocker to her. Like it did nine years ago it was now doing again. A sudden feeling of nostalgia hit her. The hand was going to lead her back to the house where she didn't know what to expect. She felt more safe with this hand than with actual people. What a strange sensation it was. 

Finally, she was at the door and whatever was going to happen to her, she knew she would have to find a way to escape and live. The twins were there, but to her sudden surprise they were acting like if nothing happened. They approached her and asked as to why she was just getting home and where she had gone to. She was shocked and scrambled to her room, leaving them quite confused themselves. The hand later explained to her what had happened to them. All their memories of the events were gone. She didn't have to worry of anything for now. As a child born due to the curse casted by a coven, the hand would be there with her and serving as a protector. Kirsten was quite fine with this idea and she knew that her life would be getting stranger and stranger by each passing day.
