(This is literally just fluff, I couldn't bring myself to write any angst xD)

Houses and trees flew by as Toni drives towards Thistlehouse. She had a project that was due in one week and luckily, Cheryl was her partner.

Toni arrived at the huge mansion just as a car was pulling out of the drive-way in a hurry.

She squinted at the car, trying to look through the rearview mirror to identify whomever was driving it.

Only for a second did she not realize who it was. Except, when she entered the house, rushed up the stairs and pushed open Cheryl's bedroom doors did the person come to mind.

Penelope Blossom.

Toni's eyes wandered the room, eventually finding the redhead sitting on top of her bed, her head hanging low and tears running down her face. She didn't dare wipe them away, even though Toni was in the room. "Cheryl, babe are you okay?"

Cheryl's head rose up slightly, a small smile spreading onto her face, "I- I'm fi-fine."

"Mhmm.." Toni hummed, walking over to the bed and sitting next to Cheryl, wrapping an arm around her waist. "You know I can see right past your lies."

Cheryl huffed and wiped away a couple tears that were rolling down her cheeks.

"I saw a car pulling out of the driveway." Toni whispered, running her hand through Cheryl's red curls. "and I'm judging by your reaction currently that it was your mother."

No response.

"Cheryl, was it your mother that left minutes ago?"

Toni heard a sniff as Cheryl started to cry again, in which, she could only assume that she was correct.

"It's okay, it's alright." She said, kissing the top of the redhead's head. "You're okay, she's not here anymore."

Cheryl shook in her arms, turning her entire body and wrapping her arms tightly around the smaller girl.

"What did she say?"

"What do you th-think, T-Toni?" Cheryl stumbled with her words, "she just c-came by to c-criticize me more."

Toni sighed, placing her hand on Cheryl's cheek, causing the redhead to move her head away from the touch. "Hey, it's alright, Cher. It's me, you're mother's gone."

"Are you s-sure?"

The smaller girl instantly nodded, scooting closer and holding out her hand, "I'm sure."

Once Cheryl finally acknowledged her hand, did she continue. "Cher, if you don't mind me asking, what exactly did your mother say?"

"She said... she said that I don't deserve happiness and t-that I'm the reason that Jason is... dead." She sniffed, "that I'm the reason he got killed... that it was all my fault." Cheryl sighed, wiping away fresh tears, whispering the last sentence softly, "and that me being alive, was an accident... and I believe her."

"Cheryl, no! You are amazing. Don't ever listen too what your mother says. Your brothers death was most defintly not your fault, you had no idea he was going fall overboard, you had no idea he was wasn't going to make it. Cheryl, you loved him! He was your brother!"

"I know, but I just can't help that feel this way. I'm awful." Cheryl lays back, her head hitting the pillow.

"You're beautiful, that's what you are. You're beautiful inside and out and nothing you do will make me see you any different." She replies, following after and laying down next to Cheryl, wrapping her arms right back around her.
