Zim waited outside of Dib's window on the stairs.
"Hurry up, human! You're taking a thousand light years!" Zim shouted impatiently.
Dib then gave the sarcastic remark of, "Well actually, light years measures lights. Not years."
"Oh here we are with mister scientific." Zim said as he rolled his eyes.Dib jumped out of the window with his brief case. "What took you so long?" Zim asked in an annoyed tone of voice. "What I do to get ready isn't any of your business. Plus, it was only five minutes." Dib replied. "Well, that's five minutes wasted! Now come on!"
Zim and Dib dashed down the stairs and into the streets. They ran all the way to Zim's house and through the front door.
When they made it to Zim's basement, they bolted into the time machine. It was a weird experience being inside it. The kind of weird that made you wanna throw up.Eventually they got spat out into the past and hit something metal with a hard THUD!
They both looked up into the starry sky, then Dib looked in front of them and said, "Looks like we're in space."
"Thanks for stating the obvious." Zim said as he got up.
"Look, if we're gunna work together, then we need to be just a little bit nicer to each other!" Dib reasoned. "We don't have to like it, we just have to do it."
Zim just rolled his eyes and looked ahead.
But Zim's eyes then widened.
"What is that?" Dib pointed ahead. "Well, if it is what I think it is, then we're in trouble. But I can't get a steady look because this thing keeps moving!" Zim stomped angrily on the metal.
"Well, seeming as we're in space, we might've been luck and landed on a space ship!" Dib explained.
Dib then heard a noise, like something opening.
"Oh great, you triggered something." Dib sighed.
The ship suddenly stopped, throwing the two back to the ground.
Almost throwing them off the ship. Dib got to his feet quickly, Zim not so much. He needed a moment to catch his breath.
Dib hesitated before reluctantly sticking out his hand to help him up.
Zim looked at Dib's hand, confused. "Uhm...I'm trying to help you up." Dib said. "Oh. Don't touch me." Zim replied. Dib just grabbed Zim's arm and tugged him up.Both Zim and Dib felt some way about this. Dib felt a rush of some thing. Adrenaline, maybe? Nervousness? Well, what ever it was, Dib kinda liked it. He didn't know why though. He just blushed a bit and let go of his arm. Zim didn't know how he felt either. But, there's no time for that right now. They have a robot to catch.
"Hey!" A low voice said. The two froze in fear and looked to the front of the ship and seen an alien of some sort. It had tentacles that covered its mouth. It had slit white eyes and the tips of its fingers looked like sharp claws, and it was a dark purple color.
However, when it stepped out...
"W-Wait. Pppffftttt! HA! HAHAHAHAHA!" Zim shouted out. "Your so tiny!"
A tiny alien of some sort, about 1 foot tall. Wearing some sort of space army uniform.
Dib felt the need to take notes on this creature, but he couldn't help but laugh a bit at the total let down.
"Hey! Don't laugh at me! I could be a serious threat to you!" The tiny creature shouted angrily.
"You? A threat? Aww, what're you talking about?" Dib mocked. The two finished laughing after a minute and Dib said, "Haha, heh. Well, anyway." Dib walked up to the tiny alien and kicked him off the ship.
"The ship is ours now, so let's go."
The two hopped in and Zim took over the ship. Y'know, because he knows how to actually work this stuff?
But as they flee close enough to see where they were and what that random floating building was, Zim pulled over to the back of the building.
"What?" Dib asked. "Whatever this thing is, it can't be that bad, right?""No, no. You don't get it." Zim replied.
"We are at one of the most security filled places in space. Moo-Ping-10!"(Oooo, reference to Enter The Florpus!!!)
