I looked down the colossal crater that had appeared in front of me. My limbs were trembling and my eyes had been blinking rapidly as a result from a white light that had swallowed my vision before I could finally see again. A normal forest - completely unfamiliar to myself - and a spontaneous, gaping hole in the ground.
I gulped, my legs tight together and my right hand clutched to the collar of my shirt. I inched towards the mysterious fissure -- it was driven into such a shape I couldn't even describe. I felt my left hand being pulled on by another hand -- Rainbow's. I'd respond by turning to where I suppose he'd be staring at me -- keeping a close eye on me in case I were to fall.
A rather small undeveloped teen with rainbow-colored hair and clothing looked fixedly at me -- his eyebrows curved into a worried position. It seemed like he was staring right through me, past my blindfold; as if I didn't exist. I'd take a few circled steps around him just to make sure he hadn't spaced out. His orange-red eyes would follow the small dents formed on my blindfold, assuming where my eyes would be.
I hadn't taken my blindfold off since I was six. It was given to me by an elderly man who looked to be about seventy years old - if not, older - who wore a navy-blue parka and baggy dark-brown pants. He'd been the first to notice me curled up underneath the wooden stairs of a small cafe -- the place I'd ran and hid after finding my parents had died of asphyxiation. I don't talk much about it anymore though - every time I do I can see my mother's horrified face, mouth wide open, where six-year-old me stood in my basement, sobbing. I'd cringe.
"What happened to Galaxy, S-Sabre? I..." He'd trail off, failing to find the right words to say. I'd jump when I heard him finally speak -- He'd seemed to have turned mute after the bottomless-looking hole had appeared. He always did that when he got overwhelmed; He can't handle large amounts of information, or he'll just -- stop.
"I don't quite know myself" I'd respond as I'd take a few steps toward the crater, my eyes fixed on it. "Who would know..?--" I'd inhale, about to come up with an explanation before I'd spot something at the bottom of the pit.
"Hmm..?" Rainbow would move towards me to see what had caught my attention. A rather unordinary but somehow familiar-looking figure was limp. It seemed like just a dark-purple blotch of a body to me from my point of view.
"Wait..." I'd think to myself.
"PURPLE--" I'd shout, lunging myself almost over the edge and landing chest first. My lungs would flare and the middle of my throat dug into a sharp rock. I'd exhale unhesitantly, inhaling to shout, "Galaxy's down there!" and ignoring my pain. I'd quickly get up, wiping the blood from a decently big gash the rock had made.
"A-Are you--"
"I'm fine..!" I'd shout, a hint of joy in my voice. "But we have to find a way to get down to him!" I'd point a partially shaking finger to the bottom of the pit. Rainbow would think for a bit before pointing his finger upwards and smiling, having thought of an idea.
"I-I should be able to put enough energy into flying there and back if you'd like..!" He'd stutter, still a little shook from when I hand interrupted him. I'd look at him and smile -- probably the first time I had smiled this whole time.
"Sounds good to me!" I'd respond.

I'd stare over at the small makeshift hut I had made Galaxy. I knew he wasn't going to wake up anytime soon, so I thought I would give him a place to rest. Other than how it was made out of all sorts of wood, the bedroom was actually quite pretty. A blue orchid arched itself over the small flower pot that had been put beside one of the two windows, and a clock hung above the red bed Galaxy lay in. It seemed pretty organized - something my life hadn't been in the past couple weeks.
We had been fighting this ill individual - Void. He was pure evil - he looked evil, too. Void had beady, crimson-red eyes - no iris or pupil, just straight red eyes. He wore dark grey pants and hoodie; you could never see his face because of the hood over his head. He was extremely powerful, too - he wasn't just trying to look scary; he was. Just by thinking it he could turn large chunks of land - gone. He wasn't teleporting it to a different place, he'd just - get rid of it.
I had figured out that Void and Galaxy were the same person. It sorta blew my mind, how someone so innocent and talkative could be the same person -- Let alone related -- to that monster. He had a super creepy voice that sounded like THIS - It'd always creep me out.
It was actually pretty easy to beat him - he'd become too cocky and full of himself. Not that had already was, but he just chose to believe that suddenly he'd become the most powerful being in the universe. Super cocky.
Galaxy had tried to take on Void - In which he didn't succeed and was drained of most of his accessible energy. Void Steve stole that energy for himself and absorbed Galaxy - for what he thought was forever, but only lasted a few minutes. It went from day to night, rain to snow to thunder, teleporting to all sorts of different places as Void would scramble his energy. I was amazing how dim-witted Galaxy could pull off taking over said 'most powerful being in the universe'. Just like that, we won.
I sat down at the edge of Galaxy's bed and heard him moan at something. I'd swing my head towards him, seeing that he was awake.
"Oh..! You're awake?" I'd ask, but it was more so a statement.
"Mmm...?" He'd respond, his arms pushing the weight of his upper body so he could sit up. I turned my body to face his.
"Mmm? Yeah, I'm awake." He'd say drowsily, rubbing his left eye and yawning.
"Morning-- Er..." I'd look up at the clock, the hour hand pointed to two o'clock. "Good afternoon!" I'd say, waiting for his response.
"Afternoon..? What--" He'd yawn. "What happened?"
"You did it, Galaxy." I'd break the news to him. "You defeated Void."
"Mmm... Silly dreams." Galaxy would pinch himself, testing to see if this was real. He was also super honest - he didn't believe in himself to defeat Void, so no wonder he wouldn't believe me.
"I'm not kidding, Galax--"
"OW!" He'd yell, feeling the pain after he had pinched himself in the arm.
"Told you." More silence.
"I actually defeated him!?" He ask in a shout, his fully yellow eyes widened.
"Yeah." I'd laugh a little and sigh. "Huh!.. I guess you did..."
I thought about what had happened in the past couple of hours. It all lead up to this moment. There was no more evil. We actually won. "Good always wins.." I thought. We were all finally at peace.
