I ran as fast as my legs could carry me, and gave myself no time to stop. I was so caught up in my confusion that I hadn't noticed that Void had been keeping up with me just fine. I mean, he could fly - of course he could keep up.
"S-Sabre..." He'd call. "Calm down..!"
I'd ignore him. Why would I listen to a creepy 18-year-old dressed in all dark grey? It's beyond me.
I'd keep running, when I'd here him shout again,
"Slow down..! You're going to wear yourself out..!"
"Pfft." I thought. "Wear myself out..? Impossible."
I knew I was right. I could run for miles. days, even - I would hardly be surprised. But it wasn't how I wore myself out that made me faint - It was my clumsiness.
The moment he called for me to slow down, I looked behind me to see where he was. That's not important, though - It was the fully white and neon-colored log that was.
You'd hear this, Thunk noise that almost sounded like a drum, when I kicked my toes onto the wood. Then down I fell, the ground catching my fall, suddenly rushing up to meet my eyes and covering my vision with dark-green shadowy haze. My eyelids fell almost instantly without warning.
SMACK!

"Agh..." I'd moan, the moment I could. I wasn't checking to see if anyone was talking about me behind my back, I was more concerned if I was alive.
"Alive? Of course I'd be alive. I can't die. I never have."
I was waiting to see if anyone would greet me a good morning welcome.
No one. Just crickets.
No, actually. I could hear the sound of crickets in my ear. It sounded so real--
It was a real one!
"Agh!" I'd yell, standing up quickly. I rose my foot unhesitantly above the measly arthropod, but not before it hopped away, retreating into the dark depths of the scenery.
"Glory..." I'd say softly, holding my head in one of my arms. I couldn't really tell which one - and that's the reason why I was holding my head. Everything hurt - especially my head.
I - very slowly - identified that I was holding my head in my right hand. That was a start. I'd then lift my head upright and examine my body for any wounds. There didn't appear to be any - just a couple of scratches on my elbows and forearms. I could easily tell - even in the dimly-lit forest - by the tiny streams of blood that had woven its way through the fabric of my white hoodie. I wasn't concerned - It was an easy fix, and I had been through worse.
I looked down at my feet and then the floor - dusty and messy loose dirt covered the roots of a tree.
"A normal tree..." I observe, looking up once more.
I'd tilt my head downwards and see a pond, surrounded by the roots of the tree.
"A familiar pond..."
After momentarily staring off into space, I'd recall seeing a pond - the same size, same clear water, but the water and scenery around it was bathed in bright sunlight peaking out between the branches of the tree before me that was smothered in leaves.
