The Girl with Venom

Chapter One

"Rose"

"Wake up"

"Rose!"

"Rose! What the fuck happened!"

My head pounded and my eyes stuck shut. What the hell? One second I was walking around my kitchen making mac and cheese and now this... whatever this feeling is. 

My eyelids were pealed back and a blurry figure stood in my view. 

"Rose!!"

I flinched back as a sudden bright light invaded my vision. 

"Oh thank God!"

I leaned over, the sudden urge of puking over taking me. I puked all over the floor, and rolled onto my back again. My head began to feel normal again, and I sat up.

"Are you okay?" my mom asked, looking at me unsure.

"No," I replied weakly.

Mom helped me up and into the bathroom, where she turned on the shower and began filling the bathtub. 

"When you feel better, we are going to have a talk about whatever the fuck happened out there," mom said sternly. Her face softened when a tear rolled down my cheek.

"Hey, hey, don't cry baby," my mom said as she turned the bath off. She stood and walked over to me.

"Why don't you get in the bath and take a good soak?"

"Okay," I replied, exhausted.

Damn this bath felt good. I don't know how long I have been sitting in it but man it was nice. My head had finally cleared and my stomach felt much better. I swished the water and bubbles around and ran my hands up and down my arms. I looked over to the pile of clothes by the door and the fresh puke stains on them and grimaced. I don't remember how those got there and I defiantly don't remember why I was laying on the floor. 

"Rose I have your hot chocolate ready whenever you're done!" my mom yelled from the kitchen.

I slowly leaned forward and unlatched the drain, watching as the water drained off of my body. My brown hair flowed down and covered my breasts. I was pretty decent looking for my age. At the age of sixteen, one would expect a girl to have acne and no shape at all. Well, I guess I didn't have a shape so to say, but I defiantly did not have any acne. Thank God. 

When the water finished draining, I got up and grabbed a towel. I looked at myself in the mirror while drying off and noticed that my eyes looked sunken and there were dark rings around them. I looked like I had run a marathon and then went partying at a club for the rest of the night. 

I got some new clothes on and put my towel away. As I went into the kitchen I did a double take. There was food strewn all across the kitchen floor, and the fridge door was wide open, with my mom leaning inside. I slowly made my way towards the fridge, carefully stepping over broken glass and tupperware. I looked inside of the fridge, and gasped. There was our thanksgiving turkey, shredded into a million pieces and strewn all about the fridge. 

"Oh my God..." I gasped.

"Yeah you have some serious explaining to do Rose."

"I don't... what the... I seriously do not know what happened..." I whispered.

My mom sighed and pointed to the dining room table.

"Please just go sit down and drink your damn hot chocolate. Your father and I will be having a talk about a punishment when he gets home from work." She said.

I walked to the table, my eyes still wide and my mouth open. What the actual fuck?! I have no idea how that happened.

I lightly sipped on my drink as I watched my mom chuck the turkey in the trash. Now that I think about it, I am really hungry.

"Hey mom," I said. I then decided not to ask her. I got up and went to the pantry and grabbed some crackers. 

"NO!"  My arm launched the crackers back onto their shelf on its own accord and I yelped.

"Honey I thought I told you to sit down!" 

"Mom did you hear that?!" I practically yelled.

"Heard what?" she replied.

"Did you just... someone yelled 'NO' really loudly..." I said quietly.

"No one said anything. I swear on my grave go sit the hell down." she said. 

I must be loosing my damn mind.
