"ready ka na for kobe's birthday?" noah asked me as I was typing his birthday message. Tumingala ako at ngumiti kay noah, nodding my head.

"can't wait for your greeting" javi said, sipping on his milk tea.

"ayan tapos na." I said, putting my phone down and grabbing some fries.

Dali-dali nilang linabas yung phone nila to check what I posted in ig.

"eto lang?" louise asked, I nodded and she frowned.

"why this lang?" juan asked, nagkibit balikat ako.

"sige na, mauuna na ako sa unit ko, mag-aayos pa ako for kobe's party later." sabi ko at tumayo na, they all nodded and wished me safety.

"hi, did you miss me?" sabi ko sa aso na binili ko para kay kobe, the dog barked softly and I smiled ruffling its hair.

Kobe loves dogs and I'm sure he would love this dog. I finished my homework and did some tidying up around the condo. Para mamaya sarili ko nalang yung aayusin ko. I played with the dog some more, I'm smiling to myself because I know that kobe will really love my gift.

I fixed myself and I fixed the dog's collar, I named the dog marshie kasi parang marshmallow siya. We were both wearing white, my sling bag was slinged across my shoulder. The party was in a club in katipunan, but I decided to drop off my gift muna. Pagbukas ng elevator, I saw them sa labas ng pinto kaya sumandal muna ako sa isang wall.

"hey, salamat." kobe said, looking into the girls eyes, holding a black and white dog, the girl smiled at kobe and kissed his lips.

"for you, I know you'll love this little baby." sagot niya, and nilaro yung aso na nasa kamay ni kobe. I smiled to myself, hindi ko na napigilan ang pagtulo ng luha ko, I didn't wait for the elevator, I took the stairs, kahit naka heels ako, hugging marshie close to my chest.

Nakaupo ako sa 3rd floor, crying, marshie licking my hand. I waited for myself to be a little calm, I kissed marshie at inuwi siya sa condo ko.

Ayoko na sanang tumuloy but everyone was calling me, nasaan na daw ba ako, ilalabas na daw yung cake ni kobe. I sighed and tied my hair, nag grab ako papunta sa venue ng party ni kobe.

The lights and the sounds making my head hurt, I looked for kobe, papakita lang sana ako and then aalis na. But someone were taking their photo, and his smile was wide, with his teeth showing, his hands on her waist.

Tumalikod ako at dali-daling lumabas, my eyes blurry from the tears. I texted tyler, dahil wala na akong choice, every grab driver was saying no to me, and walang dumadaang taxi.

I sat sa sidewalk, without a care na nakaputing dress ako, or people were staring at me, who probably knows me as the girl who's head over heels kay Kobe Paras, I didn't care that I was crying, and I was being judged.

"hey" tyler said, sitting beside me, hinawakan niya ako sa balikat para isandal ang ulo ko sakanya, he rubbed circles on my back.

"sige, iyak mo lang." he said, which made me cry harder.

Nahihiya ako for tyler, his face was visible while mine isn't, I was crying loudly, and he's just sitting there letting his shirt get soaked by my tears.

Pero masakit kasi, sabi ko kasi sakanya sabihin sa akin kapag meron na para handa ako. Pero bakit binigla niya ako?

"I'm sorry about his ig post agatha." tyler said when I calmed down,

"w-what ig post?" I asked. Nanlaki ang singkit na mata ni tyler at dali-daling itinago ang phone niya.

"may phone ako tyler." I said, getting my phone from my bag, and searching kobe's name in ig.

I wiped my tears as I pressed like, just like I wished, for this to be his best birthday, hindi nga lang ako ang kasama niya.

"tara ty." sabi ko standing up and extending my hand to help tyler stand up. And pinagpag ko yung dress ko,

"saan?" he asked opening the car door for me.

"mag bebeach ako, you can drop me off sa tapat ng condo ko and i'll commute papuntang batangas" sabi ko kay tyler, checking the website of the hotel I usually stay at.

"hey, is it weird if I come with you?" tyler asked, and I looked at him.

"kasi you don't know me that well and all but, can I come?" he asked. I smiled,

"sure."
