Kai wasn't one to really care all that much about the intricacies of people's lives. If they wanted to tell him about the drama, he would listen but he never intervened. Things always had a way of working themselves out and it gave him all the time to nap that he wanted. However, when he heard about Heine being drunk and looking quite strange the night prior, his weakness for cute things kicked in. Especially when he heard Bruno describe spots that looked like bruises. There was hell to pay if he was harmed.
Licht brought up a good point, though. Dirtier implications, yes, but it could have been a night out with someone that went a step further. It wasn't their business.
Kai still wanted to know if Heine was fine. The best solution was to test his behavior during lessons. Oddly enough, nothing seemed out of the norm. Heine still got through what he wanted to and then Kai got his allotted time to squeeze Heine's cute hands and cheeks. The man really played Kai like a fiddle when he made this deal. It wasn't like Heine didn't benefit. The smile on him was obvious during the allotted cuteness overload time.
In conclusion, Bruno might've been delusional due to being tired because all seemed normal. At least, it was for most of the time. Kai had been squeezing Heine's cute hand when Heine decided to cut the silence short.
"I hope you know how fascinating it is when a teacher forgets his own lessons. You could say it's human nature that foolish things like love cloud the mind." The words felt foreign coming from Heine yet natural at the same time like poetry written by a Mathematician. Kai squeezed Heine's hand for a sense of familiarity in the situation.
"What are you trying to tell me?"
"That I trust you." It was a strange sensation to feel Heine's hands grasp his own. He felt the same type of gentle squeeze Kai always gave him. "And I hope that you trust me."
"I don't know where all this is coming from." Kai took a breath. Talking was always so hard. "I trust you with my life."
"Thank you." Heine let his arms drop. Instead, he used them to stand up off the grass. He brushed himself off. "Well, I must get on my way. There are important matters to attend to."

Given the evidence, Bruno knew the exact type of material that he needed to look into. Romance and courtship. While not his favorite subject, he knew to have books on the matter of the need were ever to arrive. Unfortunately that need came now. How obnoxious.
Still, the more Licht implied dirtier theories to Heine's behavior, the more Bruno himself grew curious. He thought it was going to be a quick answer but the books had other plans. They all contradicted themselves. One told that a gentle kiss on the hand was a good greeting but a slightly more recent addition said that it was improper. Licht was a more coherent source and he would likely go on long tangents about all the pretty girls he knows.
About six hours later, and Bruno was much more than ready to give up. His notes on the subject grew equally incoherent. It was a mess of paper all over the room.
There is to be no physical contact between the woman and the gentleman until marriage. The last book in the collection read. In that instant, he slammed the book shut and whaled out of frustration. None of it made any damn sense! He ran his hands through his hair, as he looked through the pile of notes around him. All ever so contradicting and unhelpful. All of the advice doesn't allow for any form of secrecy like Heine was up to.
The door slammed open with a loud bang. Bruno near pissed himself right then and there; simply surprised by the loud and sudden sound. Instead he fell over in his chair, papers flew everywhere around him.
