I tossed and turned in the small bed Ethan and I were currently sharing. He wouldn't let me just sleep on the floor and I wouldn't let him just sleep on the floor, so we came up with an agreement; we would share the bed.

It was dead set night now, all the lights were turned off in the building and I'm pretty sure most of the staff had gone home, and it way too quiet. There was no way we were getting out tonight, we decided we'd come up with an idea in the morning.

My back was turned to Ethan, facing the wall, but I had the pricking feeling to turn around and make sure he was there. I was a hundred percent sure was, but just in case.

I inwardly took a deep breath, held for a few minutes and then let it out as a raspy huff. I didn't want to be weak or the type of girl who's always afraid of everything, but I was scared. Scared of what they were going to do to me. and more importantly, what they were going to do to Ethan.

I closed my eyes, letting the jumble thoughts tangle themselves and then start letting them deteriorate. I was trying aimlessly to fall asleep but I just couldn't.

"Blue?" I heard Ethan whisper.

I quickly closed my eyes shut and made my breathing deep and shallow.

"Blue, I know you're not asleep."

I squeezed my eyes as I started panicking. Ethan's voice was so deep and I swear, I would die at how low and it sounded. And oh so husky.

I bit lip from breathing hard and my insides were scrambled eggs right at this point. I didn't dare to answer and concentrated on keeping my breathing at a normal space, I was absolutely sure Ethan could hear my chocked up breathing.

Ethan didn't speak again, and slowly my heart beat came to a normal stance until I felt him turn to me. I flung my eyes open in surprise.

"Blue," Ethan's deep voice persisted me. "I know you're not asleep, might as well answer me."

"I was asleep," I spoke quietly, my voice sounding rusty. "Until now."

"Oh Blue," Ethan chuckled in the dark as I felt an arm snake over my waist. My eyes widened at the touch and my breathing hitched again. "You're a terrible liar or you sleep talk. So which one is it?"

Forgetting the fact that Ethan could literally feel my fast paced breathing, I was shocked at that Ethan thought I was a sleep talker. "Excuse me?"

"You were speaking your thoughts out loud," Ethan clarified.

"What?" I ask breathlessly. "No, I didn't. I—"

"Ethan's voice was so deep and I swear, I would die at how low and it sounded. And oh so husky." Ethan voiced out my thoughts.

"I—"

"If you liked my voice so much, you could've just told me." Ethan was having a field day at the fact that I liked the sound of his voice.

I felt like my face was on fire. I wiggled beneath Ethan's arm and the butterfly feeling rising in my stomach. "Don't be so cocky, Etha—"

My eyes widened when I felt Ethan's lips on the crock of my neck. His lips opened wide and just like a snake, his tongue gave a flick on my skin. I shuddered at the chillness that ran through me tingling the nerve senses at each of my fingertips.

"You were saying?" Ethan asked.

"I..."

I couldn't produce the sentence because Ethan was pulling at the skin on my neck. Not with his teeth, but with his lip. Then, I felt a sharp graze giving me goose bumps. Ethan was now using his teeth to nibble my neck. The feeling was insanely good because it went down there.
