Unexpected (Sonadow/Manourge)

Chapter 2

Author's P.O.V. 
"Finally. Home sweet home!" Manic groaned loudly as he opened the door. "I'm going to sleep. Wake me up when food's ready." He walked straight to his room and closed the door then plopped on the bed. 

"Okay!" Sonia chuckled and sat on the couch. "Today was a rough day." She sighed. 

"It was…" He groaned and walked to the kitchen. "And we forgot to go buy groceries. Should I go? I want to go for a run." Sonic groaned as he grabbed a water bottle and drank some water. 

"Sure." Sonia shrugged. "Be careful." She added and laid on the couch then turned on the TV. 

The azure one nodded and walked to the door then locked it once he was outside and dashed off trying to find a store. When he made it, he stopped and walked in. He walked around the aisles and yawned since he was tired.

"Hey Sonic!" Amy smiled and walked to the azure hedgehog when he noticed him. 

The azure one looked around and saw Amy then waved at her. "Hey, you are, Amy, right?" He asked just to be sure as he put some stuff on the basket. 

"Yes." Amy giggled.

"Hi." He walked to her.

"Hello!" She smiled sweetly. "How are you?" 

"I'm fine. Umm…" He wasn't used to talking to people. "I'm sorry… About what happened at lunch." 

"That's okay, it was very brave of you to stand up to your sister and Sally." The pink hedgehog shook her head. "But you should be careful around Shadow, he doesn't like when people try to put him in his place." 

"Thank you for warning me." The azure one mumbled and he looked at the cart. "I think I have everything I need. I would invite you to come have dinner at our house but we haven't finished unpacking yet so it's a mess." He chuckled. 

"Oh, that's okay. We have a whole semester in front of us." She laughed. "I'll see you later!" She waved at Sonic and walked away. 

Sonic sighed in relief when she left and tried to calm himself down, he had a light blush across his muzzle and his ears were lowered. He wasn't paying attention to where he was going as he looked at what he had again to make sure he didn't need to come back. He accidentally bumped into someone.

"Watch it." The man said and growled lowly, but quickly stopped when he saw who hit him. "You again? You don't listen, do you?" He grabbed his basket and growled. 

"Hey!" The azure one tried to pull the basket back to him. "What's your problem?" He tried not to stutter. 

"My problem? You're my problem, idiot." Shadow let go of the basket. "You won't get away with this." 

"You're such an ass, you're crazy if you think we'll let you get near our sister." The azure one growled lowly, he almost tripped when Shadow let go of the basket since he was pulling back. 

"Keep talking, see where it will take you." The ebony hedgehog glared at his now rival. "You'll regret messing with me." He walked away after that. 

Sonic scoffed lightly. "Typical fuckboy talk." He rolled his eyes and walked to pay for his stuff. Once he had everything in bags, he glanced around to see if Shadow was around then dashed off. 

"What took you so long?" Sonia asked when she saw her brother walk in. "Did you find Sally at the store?" 

"No, I found Amy and Shadow at the store." He corrected as he locked the door and put the stuff in the table. "I don't feel like cooking."

"Nobody does." The pink hedgehog yawned and stood up. "But I guess I'm doing it since I was sleeping while you and Manic were unpacking." She chuckled. "Still didn't get enough sleep though." She walked to the kitchen.
