"I'm not Ian----still me," I say, to Peter and Gage who look overly enthusiastic to see me.

"You why we're here?" Gage asks, unaffectionately.

"Yes, for excellent reasons---the world is going to come to an end----so I brought everyone here---Lydia and Edmund and Glenn for good measure are that way---Ian and Parker that way," I point appropriately with my hands, "But---I need to talk to you about Parker. She seriously isn't okay----I mean that's understandable but---"

"Yeah it is. Where's our son?" Gage asks, flatly.

"Like not okay as in none of us are okay but as in somebody---I'm going with Peter, needs to talk to her about, like, serious things," I say, weakly. How do I STILL wither under Gage's gaze? He's not my actual father being disappointed in me he's---who I wish my actual father was. Being disappointed in me.

"What do you mean?" Peter asks, sensing, thank god, that what I'm saying is truly important.

"Like, she's too---complacent with everything---she's like seriously disturbed by what's happened, understandable but----it was an honest mistake on everyone's part and I've apologized profusely and am going to support her in any way I can," I stumble. Maybe Persephone was wrong. But even if she wasn't, Peter is the one who needs to talk to her. he'll help her and get to the bottom of things.

"Okay, thank you for letting us know," Peter says, politely.

"Right---where did you say they were?" Gage asks.

"Ian and Parker---I took Parker to him they're sitting on the beach----Edmund and Lydia I'm pretty sure they're plotting something probably to overthrow me," I say, pointing the opposite direction. "I can go and---you don't want me anywhere near them, right."

"You got it," Gage says, walking towards Ian.

"You said the other two are with Glenn?" Peter asks, following him.

I nod.

"Thanks," Peter says.

I shrug and wave a little. That's sorted. I'm all alone. Oh hell. I start to follow them at a distance. I don't like being alone.
