"Ian just go with Death. I would go on if I could," Regan says.

"No----no, I'm not just giving up, I'll find some way to let them know I'm here," I say, wading back into the water.

"They know you're here; you're dead," she says, "They know you're dead."

"I don't think they do," I say, and then my head goes under. This time I push away thoughts of Parker. I need my dad. I force my thoughts to him. He can help me. He'll save me he always has.

My dad is walking across a bloody parking lot with a gun in his hand. Okay good everything is normal. No seriously----after what I saw with Parker my dad in his element is a relief.

"Dad!" I run towards him. He keeps walking he can't see me either of course he can't he.

He spins around and stares at where I am. I stop, "Dad I'm right here."

"Ian?" he asks. But his eyes aren't exactly where I am they are close though. "Ian?"

"Dad I'm right here I'm so sorry, I don't know what's going on just find me, okay? Come find me I want to come home, you have to know I'm here and I want to come home," I'm crying. I walk up and hold his arms.

He looks right through me.

"I'm so so sorry I never spoke to you before. I don't know why I couldn't, if I wanted to talk to anyone it was you I just-----I never needed to you were there, except now I'm not there and I don't know what's happening and I'm so so sorry," I sobbing.

"Ian it's okay," he whispers.

"You can hear me?" I ask.

"Gage what are you doing? We need to go," Dashiell is tugging his arm.

"Didn't you hear something?" he asks, shaking his head. His hand is still tight on mine.

"Just you, saying Ian's name," she says, "Come on, Ian is at home with Peter."

"No----it was like he's right here----like he is right here," my dad says, shaking his head.

"I am---I'm right here," I say, "Dad please, please dad I'm right here. Dad I'm right, dad, please. please I'm here."

"Okay, well he's not and you can call Peter in the car, come on," she says, the continue walking towards the Subaru.

"No it's like he's here----like that time I felt Peter and I was on the other side," my dad says, turning from me and following her.

"Yes---yes---I am here, please Dad don't let me go," I say, running alongside them.

"Do you want to go home?" Dashiell asks him.

"No---no you're right he's home and he's fine, I'm just---I don't know I'm weirded out in the head sometimes from that," he says, shaking his head. My grip on his arm loosens.

"No, that is not me I'm here---Dad----" but them I'm gone again.
