Dean (POV)

I woke up to the bright morning light shining in through my bedroom window. The house was pretty cold so I decided to snuggle into Castiel a bit more, wrapping my arms around his waist and placing my head In the crook of his neck. I sighed happily but unfortunately, with my movements Castiel woke up out of his sleep. He shuffled and turned around, kicking me in his sleep before shooting up out of bed, screaming loudly.

"CAS! WOAH!" I shout as he grabs a sheet, wraps it around his body and backs away from me. "What's wrong?"

"GET OUT!" He screams and my mouth drops open in surprise.

"Wait, what? Why?" I ask him cautiously and he grabs his hair in frustration and screams at me again to get out. I slip on some joggers quickly and start walking backwards out of the room slowly. He comes up to me and starts pushing me out of my room, hitting my chest with his hands before slamming the door in my face.

"Trouble in paradise?" I hear a voice coming from the kitchen and I walked in to find Zandriel eating a random strip of bacon with her hands.

"I don't understand, what happened? We were fine, he was asleep and suddenly he just shot up and started screaming at me!" I say frantically and she nods her head and grins.

"Yeah, he does that."

"How do you know? I don't get it." I'm looking at her in utter confusion and get angry when she just keeps acting all natural like everything is ok.

"He did spend 7 years down in hell Dean, that's the equivalent of spending a hundred years or more up here. He's gonna get nightmares here and there and they ain't gonna be pretty. You've been to hell; you know what it's like. Cas took a bit of beating in hell, especially because the demons weren't all too happy about being led by an angel so they played mind-games on him for the first 20 years, meaning about 5 weeks, pretending to be you and sleeping with him and then when it was finished they turned back into demons and it ruined him. When I found out they were doing this I killed every single one that did, brutally. I tortured them for hurting my boy like that so there is no need to worry anymore. It will just take a while for him to get used to waking up with you and you not turning into a blood-sucking demon." I gulp and nod my head at her.

"Thank you for telling me this." I say, my voice cracking slightly as I sit down at the kitchen table. My appetite was gone but my stomach was still rumbling so Zandriel put a plate of bacon and eggs down in front of me.

"Eat." She commands and I obey her, even though I don't want too. "I'm sorry for asking you to turn demonic yesterday, that was... unkind of me. I was only thinking about myself."

"Are you really sorry or are you only just saying that to get back on my good side?" I ask her and a grin breaks out on her face which happens to be quiet contagious. After only a couple of seconds we are both grinning at each other like idiots.

"What are you two idgits smiling at?" Bobby asked gruffly but Zandriel ignored his question.

"I think you all should go on a hunt. Keep practicing your fighting skills for when the war comes."

"-and where will you be? Hm?" Bobby asks her suspiciously and she only shrugs.

"Around."

"Around where?"

"Around the house."

"Hell no, you can march your god damn Satanist demonic arse out of my house with us, don't think for a second that I will leave you alone in my own home. Who knows what kind of creatures you will invite round?" Bobby growled at her and she rolls her eyes.
