A/N: I'm going to put the authors not up here to not take away from the ending -

I want to thank you all so much for reading this story and I hope you all enjoy this ending as much as I loved planning it!

I also hope you get the 'inside' fangirl moment that I will share with you all at the end of the story... you will understand when you read it. Enjoy reading and please vote and comment because you make my night when you do

Castiel and Dean were in heaven, living among the other angels that had survived the battle on earth. They were finally happy and everyone else was happy for them. Nothing seemed to go wrong anymore and the angels and demons had made peace with one another, realising that it was best to forget past differences and live together in harmony. The demon's lord was an angel again now, so there was no body left to rule them properly. Except for maybe Crowley but he liked angels more then he cared to admit.

Sam Winchester was still living on earth and Gabriel had decided to stay with him until the day he died. Balthazar had died during the battle on earth and everyone thought it best that Gabriel stay with someone he truly loved to get over the tragic death of his twin brother. Dean had got to see his mother again, which was a very teary experience for everybody and for the first time he got to introduce the love of his life properly to her. She made them both casserole and sat talking to Castiel for hours, learning about what had happened on earth. Dean didn't know that she had in fact been watching over him his whole life but she was still interested to know what had happened from his point of view.

Dean had proposed to Castiel but they both came to the mutual decision of waiting for Sam to die of old age before finally marrying each other in heaven, wanting Sam to be the best man of Dean and Gabriel the best man for Castiel. They waited patiently, however Dean did go off on a few rages here and there, muttering about 'all that rabbit food keeping him alive for so long' but Castiel was always there to calm him down. They watched over Sammy, watching him grow old while Gabriel stayed young and looked after him. You could hear them sometimes; with Gabriel joking about how Sam wasn't as rough in bed as he used to be and then a faint 'ow' from when Sam smacks him across the head for being a cheeky devil. Castiel would sometimes catch Dean watching them through the portal that separated Heaven and Earth, smiling as Sam grew old and complained about what was on TV. He sometimes even caught Dean crying when he sees Sam look at a picture of him and Dean on their mantelpiece and stares at it for hours on end. Dean couldn't go down to visit Sam because he was too busy up in Heaven but he knew that they would see each other again one day.

Time ticked on

Sam was in the hospital, sucking in his last breaths as Gabriel sat next to him, holding his hands. Little Sammy got annoyed whenever a nurse thought that Gabriel was his grandson but Gabriel just laughed and waved them out of the room before whispering nice things in Sam's ear. Telling him how they would be young again in heaven and how they can mess with Castiel's and Dean's work and cause havoc together.

The beeping on Sam's machine got slower as Gabriel brushed his fingers against Sam's grey, wrinkled hand, kissing the top of his head and caressing his face.

Everyone was getting ready up in heaven, celebrations ready to start for when Sam finally entered heaven. Dean was getting jitters about the whole day and seen as he couldn't see Castiel before the wedding he had hardly anyone to speak to. He needed Sam there; he needed his little brother to knock some sense into him and to tell him to grow some balls. Dean saw Bobby in heaven, he had been apologising since the day he first saw him and now he was sat next to him, and his legs shaking as Bobby rolled his eyes.
