vultures and creatures

vultures circle around you,
landing near you, ruffling their feathers
and sharpening their beaks.
you are drawn to them,
like a moth to a flame,
by their love hungry grins
and your love starved heart
it goes so perfectly together.
but little do you know,
they long for more than just love,
a lust and flesh desire builds within them.
as soon as they have you in their arms,
they bite down,
bright ruby blood spilling across desert sand, red clouds of chalk dust billowing up around your open wounds
and you are left defenseless,
as they fly off in search of another victim,
you are dying and lying in wait,
waiting for more rotten love
to fill your broken heart.
when will you learn?
tell me if you do.
