Tony took Peter to a clothes store on the way home since he didn't really have any. He wanted his old style back, his checkered shirts and sweaters on top. He tried it on since he didn't know what size. He got a couple sweaters, a couple science pun t-shirts and a zip up hoodie as well.

Peter hated that Tony was spending so much on him but every time Peter said something he'd just ignore him and got more to shut him up. They finally paid and left the store and headed back to the car.

"So those security officers didn't seem like you. Is that where you stole from?"

"Yeah a couple times but if you're meaning when your husband got me arrested then no I'm pretty sure that was a different place." Tony just sighed sadly and started the car and drove home a little slower than he usually drives.

Tony helped Peter put everything away trying to make conversation at the same time.

"So how was school?"

"It was good, I know my chemistry teacher from when I was at a different school."

"That's good. I mean unless you didn't like him then it's not. Did you make any friends?"

"I'm not really the friend type of person."

"What do you mean by that?"

"I've been told I'm intimidating and I'm you know a bit of a loner," Peter said sitting on the edge of the bed. "And I've never actually had a proper friend before either."

"Well there's nothing wrong with that. What about that guy who was to show you around, what was he like?"

"He's nice, I think we might be friends one day he's a bit of a loner like me but I don't know I'm not to good at figuring that kind of thing out," Peter said not really looking at Tony.

"You'll figure it out don't worry. So, that...guy yesterday. Is he your boyfriend?"

"Uhh ye..yeah, why?"

"Just wondering," Tony said with a smile.

"Yeah. Sure," Peter said smiling back.

"Just saying if he visits, me and Steve need to be here, no closed doors and if he stays the night he's in the guest room. Not that we don't trust you kid but....yeah we don't trust you, not alone with him," he said still with a smile.

"So we're not allowed to be alone alright got it. He's still allowed over right?"

"Of course, yeah."

"Thank you," he said giving him a smile. "I've got homework to do."

"Alright I'll take the hint. Let me know if you need any help kid," Tony said leaving the room closing the door behind him.

Peter woke up in the morning to a text from Ned who asked if he wanted to meet and walk to school together. Peter just texted back saying sure, then putting his phone down and getting in the shower. He got his clothes on after taking the tags off and putting his shoes on before getting his bag and phone. Then running out the door and to meet Ned in time.

"Hey Ned," Peter said as he walked round the corner where he was.

"Hey dude," he seemed less excited and more down which worried Peter a little but he thought he didn't know him enough to say something.

"So you got a girlfriend?" Ned asked smiling a little after a while of silence.

"No. I have a boyfriend though. His names Tyler," he paused to see a small smile on his face. "What about you?"

"Uhh I'm bisexual, I've got a girlfriend. Her names Betty," he said with a smile.

"Alright that's cool," Peter said not knowing what he was actually doing.

"We could go on a double date one day, once we've gotten to know each other a little better. What do you think?"

"Sounds good. Just saying I've never really had a friend before so I really don't know what I'm doing here," Peter said worried about what he'd say to that.

"That's fine, the only friend I've ever really had is Mj and she's the same," Ned said as they walked in the doors of the school.

Peter followed Ned to his locker who got the textbooks he needed until lunch.

"Hey loser," Mj said said before she noticed Peter. "Who's this?" She asked less confident as before.

"This is Peter yesterday was his first day, Peter this is Mj."

"Oh your that kid that all the teachers are keeping an eye on. What, did you like kill someone or something?" Mj asked laughing but could tell she made him a little uncomfortable.

"I uhh...I'm gonna go to the bathroom before class," Peter said to Ned before rushing away.

"Nice one," Ned said starting to walk to his class which was chemistry.

"Oh come on, it was a joke but he wouldn't have reacted like that if nothing happened," Mj said before leaving Ned to go to her own class.

Peter got to chemistry late causing everyone to watch him uncomfortably walk to the back of the room and sit down next to Ned. He looked up to see the teacher write something down before starting the lesson again.

"She was joking you know that right?" Ned whispered as Peter took his textbook out, "she just has a weird sense of humour."

"It's cool, don't worry about it," Peter whispered back and getting on with his work.

The rest of the day went pretty much same as the day before, teachers watching him more than the others in the room. He didn't expect that to change anytime soon and he knew he'd have to get used to it.

He walked out the school with his headphones in to see Steve sitting in his car in the parking lot waiting for Peter, who just hoped he didn't shout him or anything.

"Hey Steve," Peter said as he got in the car taking his headphones out and Steve started to drive. "You know the house isn't too far from here? I would have been fine walking."

"We just want to drop you off and collect you fro the next couple weeks, you left early today you got past us."

"What? Don't trust me incase I run away?" He joked though he knew it was true.

"I didn't say that," he said looking away from the road and looked at Peter for a second before looking back.

"But it's true," Peter said before looking out the window like usual.
