Everything had been going fine, Peter had been living with Tony and Steve for almost 3 months and nothing bad had happened which they were all glad about.

Peter was having a bad mental health day so he stayed home from school the first time since he started. Tony kept going in to check on him to see if he'll change his mind on talking or getting out of bed or even eating but he just kept shaking his head no.

"Hey sorry Pete. Tony, Fury just called a meeting with all of us. Said it's important and we have to go," Steve said from the door frame. "Please have something for dinner kid."

"We'll be as fast as we can," Tony said before standing up from where he was crouched down next to Peter's bed and walked out the door, "what does he want this time?"

"I don't know."

Peter thought about doing something from the pile of homework he had to get done but couldn't find the motivation. After lying in bed for almost an hour he decided to do something.

He wondered around to see if there was anything they missed when they showed him around. He found the door that lead to the roof but not knowing that he opened the door and felt the cold fresh air rush past him.

He stepped out and walked over to the edge and looked down he realised how high the building really was, it didn't look it from outside. He stood there for a while just thinking, feeling the same hopelessness and worthless feeling that he always did. His phone soon began to ring, it was Tony.

"Hey Pete, just wanted to say that we've been called out for a mission, sorry. Are you going to be okay there yourself?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Don't worry about me."

"I don't really believe that but at least your talking. We'll call when we can and remember to eat, there should be a little money in the lab if you need it."

"Yeah that's fine. How long will you be?" Peter said walking through the door off the roof and headed back to his room.

"Shouldn't be longer than a week kid. Talk to someone at school if you need someone okay?" Tony said there was shouting in the background which Peter couldn't make out, "sorry kid I gotta go."

The phone cut off half way through the last word which didn't really bother him to much but soon made him worry incase something happened.

Peter decided to go to school the next day, it was the same as usual, boring and long. He done a lot of his homework between classes and at lunch since he still had a pile on his desk in his room. He'd avoided people almost all day but he had chemistry last thing where Ned asked if he wanted to walk with him.

Peter decided he still wanted to alone so he told Ned that Tony was picking him up a block away. He walked home slowly with his headphones in and his music quiet enough so he could still hear everything. His music stopped playing and his phone started ringing, it was Tyler, he had missed him.

"Peter, I was thinking why don't we do something tomorrow?"

"What after school? My school finishes after yours," Peter said knowing what was coming next.

"I meant instead of school."

"I don't know. I've been told if I do anything like that I can be kicked out."

"Come on. I was thinking we could go to Oscorp."

"No way?"

"Yeah, tours tomorrow at ten. You in?"

"...oh fuck it, yeah I'm in. I'll figure something out with school."

He didn't know how he was going to get out of school but he'd wanted to go Oscorp for so long and Tyler knew that. He also knew he probably wouldn't get that opportunity again.

Peter woke up to his phone ringing, it was Tony. He was about to answer when he noticed the time, it was almost half nine he needed to get ready. He let it ring out and texted Tyler before he got ready.

P: Just getting ready meet you there at 10

He got his jeans on and his science pun t-shirt followed by his boots, zip up hoodie and glasses. He heard his phone while he was brushing his teeth. He picked it up and left his room picking up his keys and coat.

T: Don't be late. They won't let us in after

Peter unlocked the door and locked again after leaving and started running towards Oscorp. He didn't see many people when he got there then saw the sign that said it started at half 10.

"What the hell Tyler?"

"What? We need extra time to steal someone's badge," he whispered with a smile holding the door open for him.

"I should have known," Peter said smiling back.

Tyler just took the first one he saw and clipped it onto his hoodie pocket, Peter looked over the badges and the names to see who he'd rather be. He saw the name Oliver Young and picked it up and clipped it to his coat and they waited with the others who also got there early.

Peters phone started ringing again, it was Ned. He just ignored it and soon noticed he already phoned him and had four missed calls from Tony.

He's gonna kill me.

Peter watch the 2 people who got dragged out by security, he knew that him and Tyler took their badges and that feeling he used to get when he done something like this didn't come. He didn't know if he liked that or not.

They finally got in for the tour after what felt like 3 hours to Peter but was only half an hour. It was better than what Peter had been expecting but that didn't stop him from getting bored quickly, he whispered to Tyler that he was going to the bathroom.

But instead he followed a sketchy looking guy to what looked like an office from the outside but what was inside was something Peter hadn't been expecting.

After he put the same code in the man before, after he had left. He walked in and closed the door, the room was full of little spiders that looked different from usual ones he'd seen before. He hesitated before he left the room faster than he got in, he didn't like spiders.

He was walking back to the group when he got stopped by security telling him he had to leave which he did. He was walking towards the door when he winced as he felt a sharp sting in the back of his neck. He put his hand on the back of his neck but felt nothing and he turned around and no one was close to him.

He just shrugged it off saying to himself that it was nothing and carried on out the door, he was glad when the cool air finally hit him. He was going to wait for Tyler but his vision started going blurry he decided to sit down for a minute before heading home.
