Our virtual pairing

So, i thought since our protagonist is an imaginary person among real ones, we just can't insert her in episodes. So from now on, anytime that she appears in a vedio, it will be an imaginary episode and since i am not a gaming person, most probably even imaginary games. Thanks for supporting this work. Really appreciate it 😊.

Y/n pov:
"So when will i get to meet your new family, huh?"
"Oh, you will have to come here for that mum."
It was a daily routine for me to talk to her in the morning while driving. It is one of the things for me that i have to do daily, but I also look forward to it. I mean, how can you not look forward to talking to your mother.
"So there is no chance that i will be seeing you in NY anytime soon." she sounded disappointed.
"Mum, you know i would come the moment you call me. Do you want me to come NOW?"
I very well knew her answer, but she should remember that herself.
"No, you have a job now. Moreover the bakery needs me."
"So there, we have it settled." I said
"Ok, bye then. I am running late already. You must have reached your office too. Talk to you later cupcake."
"Yup. Bye."
I hear the call disconnect.
I park my car in the parking lot and head towards my office.

The games squad was recording a new game today. I have no idea about it, all i know is that it involves saving a damsel from evil witch. Cringy.

The set up was complete, bit for some reason the game hadn't started yet.
"What happened? Why hasn't it started?" I asked Matt.
"We were waiting for you. See, in this new version, all of them will be knights trying to save the gal, but a person also has to play the damsel. I was hoping you might be able to do that." He said.
"Wait, so you want me to play with them." I asked him. I don't mind playing, but its getting on camera that is scary.
"Umm, yeah."
"On camera?"
"Not necessarily. You can play sitting here." He said.
I looked at the spare computer on the same desk as Mari. It had no camera around it, so that is a good part.
Playing should be good. At least i won't have to look at them enjoying, i could be a part of it too.
"But what if i screw up the game?" I asked. O am familiar with PC games, but not with these people. And team games need a good team work.
"That, would be even better. We don't play for winning, we play for comedic purpose." I heard Damien say. It was then that i noticed his table was the one next to mine. He was wearing his black t-shirt today, and his messy brown hair with that. Oh God.
"Ok, i think we can do that. Bit i want a mic."

5 minutes later, the game started.
"Hello everyone, welcome to yet another vedio of our dumb asses playing nah, ruining yet another game for you." Damien introduced the vedio.
"Today we will be playing 'Saving the Damsel'. So in this game all of us are brave knights, and our mission is to navigate our way through the mystical land of the bad witch, reach her castle, save our damsel and get the hell out of there. Easy peasy." Joven said.
"But this is a new unreleased version of the game where someone has to be the princess too. And we couldn't decide which girl among Mari, Boze and Joven should be the princess, so we have our editor y/n play the princess from behind the camera."
Damien said.
Everyone laughed at Joven being counted among the girls, but he took ot very well. It is one thing about Joven that i admire.
"Hi everyone." I said into my mic. The reality of my situation struck me right then and i could feel my adrenaline pumping. I am only visually absent from the video, but the rest of part has to be done. Which includes the jokes. Oh sjit.
"Yeah. So you people must be wondering why you cant see the face behind the sweet sweet greeting voice. That is because y/n is such a shy girl." Wes added.
"No, it is because she is hiding from the law." Mari said.
Everybody laughed at that.
"Yes. I have committed a serious crime of not making my bed this morning. I am sooooo evil." I added to the joke.
Everyone laughed harder at that.
"What are we waiting for. Lets begin the game then, before the police comes in." Damien said.

Before any of the other players could reach me at the tower, i had to wait. So till then i made very little comments on the game itself.
Wes was the first to come close to reach me, but then his character fell of an edge and he died, only respawning miles away.
