Falling slowly ...

Y/n POV:

"NO, I am just angry." I shouted over the phone.
"Why is that upsetting you so much?" Ian said on the other end.
"Dude! Did you not hear me telling you what he said yesterday?"
"Yeah, I did. But since when do you care what other people think?"
"I don't, but this is not just some other person. This is my best friend we are talking about. He is supposed to support me when i am being bold, not screw my head for it."

The whole night and this entire morning i have been sulking over what Damien said yesterday.
And then Ian called me this morning to remind me that i and Damien have our 'Smosh shutdown special' podcast shooting today.
Well, let's just say i took out all my frustration about yesterday by talking about it to Ian.

"If you were feeling so angry about it then why did you apologize to him yesterday?" He asked me.
Well, i have been wondering the same.
"I don't know man, maaaybeeee because I wasn't angry then. I was sad when he said that out of nowhere. It just felt natural."
"Will you two have any trouble filming today?" He asked.
"No. No we'll be fine." I said

I dropped Pebbles to pet daycare. Its just been months now and she is already a full sized kitty goddess. She is just a royalty. A humble one i might add.

I drove to the office, kept my stuff on my desk, reviewed my calendar for today and immediately ran down to stagging area.
The table was ready, and Kevin was just making final adjustments in the mic settings.

"Oh, there she is. Where were you?" Damien asked cheerfully.

Maybe i was thinking too much about it. He must have been tired yesterday.

"So sorry, I was just reviewing my calendar today." I said as i took the middle seat, with both the boys on either side of me.

Ian stopped shaking his coffee flask and opened his topic list on the laptop.

"Shall we begin?" Kevin asked.
"Yeah." Ian said.

"Recording in 3...2...1..."

"Hello Smosh fans, welcome to this very special and personally exciting episode of Smoshcast. Today we are joined by our own weeb uh... Damien."
"Hey everyone." Damien said his mouth literally kissing the mic.
"And also, debuting her first podcast appearance y/n."
"Hello guys. Wassup?" I said, pulling out a victory sign.

Ian:"So, before we started, Kevin called this episode 'Smosh shutdown editor special episode', which is correct."

Damien: Oh yeaaah. Thats actually right.

Y/n: Yeah. I mean the entire shutdown, it was me and Damien who were editing out the episodes. That is why he wasn't in many of the videos.

Ian: So Damien, how was it?

Damien: Frankly, more than anything it was fun to learn something new. I knew a bit of it before but never to thaaat level which I know now. Of course y/n helped, but I am actually proud of it. Yeah. It was nice.

Y/n: To me it was fun. Initially it was very tedious. Damien was still in the learning phase and obviously slow, so i had to burn my nights to get them done on time. Also it was a much more primitive software than the ones we used in office, so it was taking me a lot of concentration too.

Damien: Yeah.

Ian:. I get you. We all had to go back to old, beginner's ways to do stuff. But, but I believe you two had a much better time than the rest of us. Look at it, you two gained each others friendship, you got Pebbles, you started editing and you started voice overs.

Y/n: Oh yeah.

Damien: Yeah. I finally convinced her to join me for the voice overs.

Ian: And you guys are doing it really amazing.
