Another day at rosewood high. UHH sometimes I really hated school. Although I was the queen bee, every girl wanted to be me, and every guy wanted to date me, I still dreaded the second my alarm clock blared every morning.
It was a Monday and everyone in the hallway was slowly going to their classes. Most of them had a coffee in hand.
As I made my way to my first period class I passed the front office noticing something new. Or should I say someone.
Being the ruler of the school I practically knew everybody. But her, I surely didn't know. And I could already tell I was going to envy her. Just by her looks.
She noticed me staring at her through the glass walls in the office, and let out a shy smile. A few seconds later she made her way out of the office and started to head in the same direction as me.
As we were walking I could feel her eyes on the back of my head.
I stopped and turned around to face her. But she wasn't there. She was a few feet away putting things in her empty locker.
I confidently walked away and headed into my first period English class room where I saw my three best friends. Spencer, Aria, and Hanna.
Spencer waved to me. I smiled in response as I headed in her direction. I sat down in my desk which was right behind Spencer's.
She turned around to face me.
"Wow you're not late today. And on a Monday too!" She laughed in surprise.
I smiled. "Yeah I know I can't believe it either."
Just then Mr. Fitz walked in the classroom.
"So, did you hear? There's a new girl." I said whispering to Spencer.
"Yeah, my mom works with her mom they just moved into the Howell's old house." Hanna stated taking her seat to the left of me.
"Do you know anything about her?" I asked Hannah moving my body in her direction.
"No, but my mom said she's a very sweet girl." Hanna giggled.
"Your mom calls everybody sweet Han." I laughed.
"Alright!" Mr. Fitz yelled as he was ready to start class. There were a few muffled mumbles here and there but for the most part, the class stayed quiet.
"Okay class! Today I have a surprise for you. We have a new student joining us today." Mr. Fitz began, "her name is Emily Fields." He finished as he read her name off a piece of paper on his desk.
Just then Emily walked in.
"Ah Emily we were just talking about you." He smiled at her.
"Oh" is all she said.
I could tell she was a bit nervous and shy. I guess Hanna could too because she leaned toward me and whispered, "She is so adorable."
I gave her an odd glance but turned my attention back to Emily. Hanna was right she was a bit adorable. But I would never admit that though.
"So um, Emily, you can take your seat." Mr. Fitz told Emily as he extended his arm pointing in my direction to the only available desk.
She nodded heading over to the desk. She then took her seat. It was to the right of me. The whole class was looking at her as she sat down. She then cleared her throat and looked at me. I gave her one of my legendary Alison smiles and turned to face Mr. Fitz.
As the day went on I didn't see Emily again. Until lunch. As I sat down with my friends, I spotted Emily cluelessly looking around for a place to sit.
I got up from the table and made my way over to her.
"Hey." I said as I approached her.
"H-hi." She stuttered.
I could tell she was wondering why I was talking to her.
"You look a little lost," I said as she let out a small laugh. "Would you like to come sit with me and my friends?" I asked pointing in the direction of where my friends were sitting at the table.
"Um, sure thanks." She said as she followed me to our table. As to why I was being so nice to this girl....I don't know. Normally, I see a new girl as a new target. But she was different.
"Hi." All the girls said as she took the set next to Aria. Emily shyly smiled.
"So girls," I interrupted. They All turned their heads up to look at me. "After school do you guys want to come over and watch movies?" I asked taking a bite of my salad.
"Sorry, I have to go to dinner with Melissa tonight. She's back from New York and she wants to spend time with me." Spencer answered with a gross look on her face.
"Caleb's taking me shopping at the mall." Hanna chirped up cheerfully.
"It's my week at my mom's and since I never really get to see her, I want to spend time with her. Sorry" Aria stated.
"And then there were two." I flashed a smile in Emily's direction.
"Oh, I was included in that?" She mumbled.
"Well yah." I stated.
I looked at her and she had no response.
"So, you coming?" I asked her.
"I-I don't know where you live." She stuttered.
"We can walk home together." I winked at her, then I turned my head to take another bite of my salad.
------------------------------
It was after school and Emily and I had plans to go to my house. I was supposed to meet her at the front office so we could walk home together.
As I was Making my way to the front office, I spotted Emily at her locker.
"Oh hey!" I said as I stopped in front of her.
"Hi," she replied to me smiling.
"You ready To head out?" I asked.
She shoved a few extra books in her locker. She smiled and nodded
"Alright." I said as we exited the school.
